{"id":3803,"date":"2026-05-28T13:40:22","date_gmt":"2026-05-28T13:40:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/jennifer-lopez-tears-up-over-twins-graduating-high-school-moving-out-in-emotional-interview\/"},"modified":"2026-05-28T13:40:22","modified_gmt":"2026-05-28T13:40:22","slug":"jennifer-lopez-tears-up-over-twins-graduating-high-school-moving-out-in-emotional-interview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/jennifer-lopez-tears-up-over-twins-graduating-high-school-moving-out-in-emotional-interview\/","title":{"rendered":"Jennifer Lopez tears up over twins graduating high school, moving out in emotional interview"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F05%2F128952131.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Jennifer Lopez is getting loud about her future empty nester status.<\/p>\n<p>The singer got emotional when asked about her 18-year-old twins Max and Emme\u2019s high school graduation during her Wednesday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Hod-28wQL2M\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">appearance on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t talk about it because [I] start crying,\u201d she told host Jimmy Kimmel, noting that she will definitely shed tears at the upcoming ceremony. \u201cI\u2019ve been crying for two months.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Jennifer Lopez tearfully talked about her twins, Max and Emme, graduating high school and moving out for college on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d <span class=\"credit\">ABC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cDon\u2019t talk about it because [I] start crying,\u201d she told viewers Wednesday night. \u201cI\u2019ve been crying for two months.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">ABC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Lopez said that the teenagers\u2019 milestone moment really hit her when she wrote notes for their high school yearbook.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I tell you, the tears \u2014 it took me two days to write those things,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n<p>The singer, 56, also shared that her twins will be going to different colleges, a choice she is \u201cfine\u201d with since she wants \u201cthem to be happy and go where they want to go and do what they want to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The singer jokingly said she hopes her children (pictured above in October 2025) will miss home once they see how small their dorms are. <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cI hope they\u2019ll want to come back real soon. That\u2019s my plan,\u201d Lopez quipped.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>She added, \u201cWe\u2019re going to pack up their rooms here and they\u2019re going to take all the things that they want to take to their dorm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen they\u2019re going to realize that their dorms are too small and they\u2019re going to miss home,\u201d Lopez continued. \u201cI hope they\u2019ll want to come back real soon. It has always been the three of us!! We have been on this journey together. We have always had each other to hold on to and be that steady presence in the middle of any snowstorm.
