During their marriage, they welcomed Violet, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 14.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, Violet has <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/09\/24\/celebrity-news\/ben-affleck-jennifer-garners-daughter-violet-calls-for-mask-mandate-in-un-speech\/\">been an outspoken advocate<\/a> for post-COVID mask mandates.<\/p>\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/07\/10\/parents\/watch-ben-affleck-jennifer-garners-daughter-violet-demand-mask-mandate\/\">giving an impassioned speech about the topic<\/a> at the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors meeting in 2024, Violet <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/07\/10\/parents\/violet-affleck-hinted-at-viral-condition-months-before-calling-for-mask-mandate\/\">claimed she \u201ccontracted a post-viral condition in 2019.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m OK now,\u201d she added, \u201cbut I saw first-hand that medicine does not always have answers to the consequences of even minor viruses.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure speech\u00a0about mask mandates at the United Nations last September and said she\u2019s \u201cterrified\u201d for children because of how public officials have handled the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2024, Violet <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/05\/28\/parents\/ben-affleck-attends-daughter-violets-graduation-party-without-jennifer-lopez\/\">made headlines for her high school graduation<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/05\/21\/parents\/jennifer-garner-ben-afflecks-daughter-violet-graduates-high-school\/\">Garner\u2019s crying
