Rumer had a home birth,\u201d Moore, 63, claimed in the docs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/inside-rumer-willis-relationship-with-ex-derek-richard-thomas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">obtained by Us Weekly<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was present for the birth along with Rumer\u2019s siblings. While Rumer was giving birth to Louetta in the birthing tub, Derek, without asking, and without having showered, got into the birthing tub in an aggressive and sudden manner,\u201d the mom of three alleged in the letter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone was shocked. Rumer asked him to get out immediately, and he did. He then spent the rest of the birth acting angry and pouting, and making it all about him.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Demi Moore (seen above with her eldest daughter in a selfie) shared the \u201caggressive\u201d behavior her daughter Rumer Willis\u2019 ex Derek Richard Thomas allegedly exhibited.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The actress (seen above at the 2026 Kering Women in Motion Awards) claimed Thomas allegedly \u201cappears to want to dictate and control Rumer\u2019s environment to his needs.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Moore claimed Thomas had \u201cno consideration to Rumer, the baby, the process, or anyone else\u201d for that matter, alleging, \u201cHe essentially ruined what should\u2019ve been one of the happiest moments of her life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSubstance\u201d star said when she returned to the house with Rumer\u2019s sister Scout Willis the following day, Thomas allegedly came into his girlfriend\u2019s room to \u201cangrily complain that we were there cleaning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI heard him pressure Rumer not to have me and her sisters there with her for support. I heard him berate and angrily complain to Rumer, \u2018How dare we come over without his permission,&#8217;\u201d Moore penned in the letter, per Us Weekly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe stayed in the room with Rumer for at least 30 minutes that morning less than 12 hours after Rumer had given birth. He would not leave her alone. I was holding her and Derek suddenly whipped off his shirt and demanded I give him the baby so he could have what he called \u2018skin to skin contact.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Moore claimed Thomas was \u201caggressive\u201d and \u201cwould not let Rumer put clothes on Louetta when she was clearly cold and needing to be bundled and swaddled.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe showed absolutely no respect, care, concern, compassion or support toward anyone, especially Rumer and the baby,\u201d the \u201cG.I. (Pictured: Moore, Rumer and Bruce Willis.) <span class=\"credit\">demimoore\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWhile our family made an effort to support Derek as a new father and do our best to support Rumer around his actions, he continued to try to cut her support system completely out of the picture,\u201d Moore added.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cStriptease\u201d star also alleged in the letter that Thomas has brought her granddaughter back to her home \u201cfilthy\u201d after being in his care.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn many occasions, he brings Louetta back filthy to my house with an unchanged diaper. He has left her car seat filthy, and his general attitude is that it is unimportant. He does not pick up after himself. He clearly expected Rumer or me or our staff to do everything for him,\u201d she penned in the docs.<\/p>\n<p>Moore said her and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/article\/bruce-willis-kids\/\">Bruce Willis\u2019 eldest daughter<\/a>, Rumer, is \u201cdoing 100 percent of the financial and physical support\u201d for Louetta.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe makes no effort to acknowledge that, support that, and in fact has only put Louetta and Rumer in more stressful situations. (Pictured: Rumer and Thomas in 2023.) <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cHe has refused to make any effort and has shown no desire to seek out means to support Louetta,\u201d Moore continued, adding that \u201che refused to make choices to share in any of the basic responsibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lawyer also denied Rumer\u2019s claims that Thomas <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/28\/parents\/rumer-willis-accuses-derek-richard-thomas-of-insane-domestic-violence-custody-battle\/\">exhibited \u201cincessant domestic violence.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cMs. Willis\u2019 statements are inaccurate and false and we intend to demonstrate this in court.
