I wanna thank you for literally changing the game when it came to daytime television.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Kelly Clarkson cried while discussing the end of her talk show on Wednesday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Kelly Clarkson Show.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">YouTube\/@kellyclarksonshow<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cI just wanna say one thing before we go,\u201d the actress (seen above) told Clarkson. <span class=\"credit\">YouTube\/@kellyclarksonshow<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Wilson, 69, applauded Clarkson, 44, for her love of music and for bringing \u201cso much music to daytime.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have shared with us your voice, your gifts, and everyone else\u2019s, and your incredible band,\u201d the actress continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really want to thank you, because it has made a big change in my life. That\u2019s so nice.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The \u201cStronger\u201d songstress got up to warmly hug Wilson, as they both said, \u201cI love you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clarkson then sat back down, looked at the camera, and jokingly said, \u201cShut it off,\u201d with teary eyes.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The \u201cStronger\u201d singer then got up to hug Wilson. <span class=\"credit\">YouTube\/@kellyclarksonshow<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Clarkson jokingly told the crew to cut the cameras. <span class=\"credit\">YouTube\/@kellyclarksonshow<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The \u201cBecause of You\u201d singer confirmed that her daytime talk show was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/02\/02\/entertainment\/kelly-clarkson-confirms-daytime-talk-show-to-end-after-7-seasons\/\">coming to an end<\/a> after seven seasons in February.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Clarkson took to Instagram to thank the fans who have supported the show since it first aired in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause of all of that, this was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting \u2018The Kelly Clarkson Show,\u2019\u201d she stated, explaining that she was \u201cstepping away\u201d\u00a0to focus <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/01\/11\/celebrity-news\/kelly-clarkson-gives-rare-update-on-kids-5-months-after-brandon-blackstocks-death\/\">on her kids<\/a>, River, 12, and Remington, 10, whom she shared with her<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/08\/07\/celebrity-news\/kelly-clarksons-ex-husband-brandon-blackstock-dead-at-48-after-cancer\/\"> late ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.<\/a><\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>In February, Clarkson announced her daytime show was ending after seven seasons. <span class=\"credit\">Weiss Eubanks\/NBCUniversal via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The pop star will return to \u201cThe Voice\u201d to be a coach. <span class=\"credit\">Trae Patton\/NBC via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll still be making music, playing shows here and there and you may catch me on \u2018The Voice\u2019 from time to time \u2026 you never know where I might show up next,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Sure enough, in May, NBC announced Clarkson was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/07\/entertainment\/kelly-clarkson-makes-surprising-career-move-after-abandoning-talk-show\/\">returning as a coach<\/a> on \u201cThe Voice\u201d for Season 30.<\/p>\n<p>The TV personality previously appeared on the competition series from Seasons 14 to 21.
