It sounds like a bad \u2018SNL\u2019 sketch,\u201d she quipped.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt worked out luckily, but we poke fun at each other in our family all the time,\u201d Hilaria added. \u201cI think people expect that Alec wanted somebody he could boss around, and we\u2019re on the same level together.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Their marriage, however, hasn\u2019t been without its stressors. She\u2019s beautiful beyond measure, inside and out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alec \u2014 who shares kids Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 8, Eduardo, 5, Maria Lucia, 5, and Ilaria, 3, with Hilaria \u2014 said his best moments are spent at home with his family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor me, I don\u2019t want to leave my home anymore,\u201d he told the outlet, despite confessing that he also loves \u201cto go to work.\u201d  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The couple, pictured above in 2012, has been married nearly 14 years.  <span class=\"credit\">Dave M.
