Do not proceed unless you\u2019ve watched \u201cEuphoria\u201d Season 3 episode 8.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Zendaya is saying goodbye to her beloved <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/11\/entertainment\/all-the-euphoria-controversies-zendaya-and-sydney-sweeneys-alleged-feud-cast-deaths-and-more\/\">\u201cEuphoria\u201d character<\/a>, Rue Bennett.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just want to say, thank you,\u201d the \u201cDune\u201d actress said in a post-episode behind-the-scenes look Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m incredibly grateful for every single one of you; many of you have been here since the beginning and watched me grow up,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Zendays reacted to the death of her charcater Rue Bennett on the \u201cEuphoria\u201d Season 3 finale. <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">\u201cI\u2019m incredibly grateful for every single one of you; many of you have been here since the beginning and watched me grow up,\u201d she added.  <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been such a pleasure and an honor. Thank you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rue \u2014 who struggled with drug addiction throughout the HBO Max series \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/31\/entertainment\/does-zendayas-rue-die-in-the-euphoria-season-3-finale\/\">died in Sunday\u2019s season finale<\/a> from an accidental overdose after taking painkillers that were intentionally laced with fentanyl by the drug lord Alamo Brown (portrayed by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje).<\/p>\n<p>Rue\u2019s body was found by her mentor, Ali Muhammed, played by Colman Domingo.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ali later sought revenge for Rue and traveled to Alamo\u2019s strip club and fatally shot the drug lord after a standoff.<\/p>\n<p>Rue wasn\u2019t the only major character who was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/24\/entertainment\/euphoria-kills-off-jacob-elordis-nate-jacobs\/\">killed off in the third and final season<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In last week\u2019s episode, Nate Jacobs (played by Jacob Elordi) met his fate. The controversial character was buried alive in a coffin, with a pipe leading to the surface so that he could breathe. <\/p>\n<p>However, a rattlesnake slithered down the pipe and bit him.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In a post-show HBO segment, the \u201cFrankenstein\u201d star, 28, said it was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/25\/entertainment\/how-jacob-elordi-feels-about-euphoria-character-nate-jacobs-gruesome-death\/\">\u201ccool to see it all come to what it\u2019s come to.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Elordi noted that his character \u201cwas someone who has made so many mistakes and made so many dark choices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Season 3 of \u201cEuphoria\u201d is available to stream on\u00a0HBO\u00a0Max. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/01\/celebrity-news\/zendaya-reacts-to-character-rues-tragic-death-after-season-3-euphoria-finale\/\" target=\"_blank\">Source link<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Warning: Spoilers ahead!
