Justin Baldoni back to court weeks after they <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/04\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-and-justin-baldoni-reach-shocking-agreement-in-it-ends-with-us-battle-before-trial\/\">settled their explosive legal battle<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The legal filing show Lively, 38, is requesting that Baldoni, 42, cover her legal fees and costs from the defamation case. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The \u201cGossip Girl\u201d actress is also seeking\u00a0triple damages and punitive damages.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear how much total money Lively wants from Baldoni. <\/p>\n<p>Lively and Baldoni were set to go to court on May 18 before they<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/04\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-and-justin-baldoni-reach-shocking-agreement-in-it-ends-with-us-battle-before-trial\/\">\u00a0reached a settlement agreement<\/a>\u00a0on May 4 after a judge\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/02\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-dealt-devastating-blow-in-ongoing-justin-baldoni-harassment-lawsuit\/\">tossed out 10 out of 13<\/a> of the actress\u2019s allegations from her 2023 lawsuit, including conspiracy, sexual harassment and defamation.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Lively class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Baldoni previously sued Lively for $400 million and accused her of defamation, extortion and more. <span class=\"credit\">REUTERS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The \u201cSimple Favor\u201d actress\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/31\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-sues-justin-baldoni-over-it-ends-with-us-feud\/\">filed a sexual harassment lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0against Baldoni, who also directed \u201cIt Ends With Us,\u201d in December 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Baldoni denied Lively\u2019s claims and,\u00a0the next month,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/16\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-drags-taylor-swift-into-it-ends-with-us-legal-battle-as-he-sues-blake-lively-ryan-reynolds-for-400m\/\">filed his $400 million countersuit<\/a>\u00a0against the actress, her husband Ryan Reynolds and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, alleging defamation, extortion and more.<\/p>\n<p>However, Baldoni\u2019s suit was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/06\/09\/celebrity-news\/judge-tosses-justin-baldonis-400m-lawsuit-against-blake-lively-ryan-reynolds\/\">dismissed in June 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Judge Liman wrote that Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios production company \u201chave not alleged that Lively is responsible for any statements other than the statements in her [California Civil Rights Department] complaint, which are privileged.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The judge dismissed Baldoni\u2019s lawsuit settled.<\/p>\n<p>Baldoni\u2019s attorney, Bryan Freedman,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/06\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-settlement-was-huge-victory-for-justin-baldoni-lawyer\/\">called the settlement a \u201chuge victory\u201d<\/a>\u00a0while speaking with \u201cTMZ Live.\u201d He also claimed Lively\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/08\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-and-justin-baldonis-legal-battle-isnt-over-yet-as-actress-gets-trolled-by-co-stars-lawyer\/\">settled because she was \u201cscared\u201d to testify<\/a>\u00a0at trial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was an incredible opportunity,\u201d he told the outlet, \u201cand I don\u2019t think you pass up an incredible
