Utah judge, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/30\/celebrity-news\/judge-criticizes-taylor-frankie-paul-dakota-mortensen-in-protective-order-ruling\/\">ordering mutual protective orders<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Paul, 31, and Cheyenne\u2019s son, 33, were both present inside Salt Lake City\u2019s Third District Courthouse for the ruling, marking the <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/30\/celebrity-news\/taylor-frankie-paul-and-dakota-mortensen-seen-together-in-utah-court\/\">first time the duo have been seen together<\/a> since their legal for three years.<\/p>\n<p>He dubbed their <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/09\/10\/entertainment\/where-taylor-frankie-paul-ex-dakota-mortensen-stand-ahead-of-bachelorette-filming\/\">on-again, off-again relationship<\/a>, which began in 2022, \u201ctoxic\u201d and \u201cdysfunctional\u201d \u2014 and urged them to \u201cfigure out how to function as coparents\u201d for 2-year-old son Ever.<\/p>\n<p>The judge, who believed \u201cviolence \u2026 occurred both ways\u201d \u2014 with Paul\u2019s \u201cconduct\u201d being \u201cmore reactive\u201d and Dakota\u2019s \u201cmore toddler, while Paul gets supervised visitation with the little one.<\/p>\n<p>Minas noted he is \u201cwary that Dakota may actually try to use [the visitation] as a way to manipulate and control\u201d Paul if it continues.<\/p>\n<p>Paul\u2019s rep called the ruling a \u201csignificant step\u201d for the reality star, whose career has been in upheaval since <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/19\/celebrity-news\/taylor-frankie-paul-allegedly-choked-ex-dakota-mortensen-he-claims-in-restraining-order-filing\/\">alleged domestic violence incidents<\/a>
