There were tensions way back \u2026 Their paths barely crossed during the making of Season 3,\u201d an insider\u00a0alleged to the Sun. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the press tour, any interactions between the pair are being kept to a minimum to avoid any awkward encounters on camera. There is a complete ban on \u00adjournalists asking about tensions between Zendaya and Sydney.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>But Zendaya (pictured earlier this month) and Sweeney\u2019s alleged feud dates back to November 2025 when a source claimed they clashed over their political views. <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The Daily Mail reported that Zendaya (seen above at the Season 3 premiere) refused to do press with Sweeney because of her republican affiliations. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to the source, their dispute stemmed from Sweeney having \u201cthe hots\u201d for Zendaya\u2019s fianc\u00e9, Tom Holland, and being \u201cflirty with him\u201d when he came to set.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat did not go down well with Zendaya.
