{"id":4379,"date":"2026-06-02T16:31:34","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T16:31:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/jennifer-lopez-shuts-down-brett-goldstein-dating-question-on-today-with-savannah-guthrie\/"},"modified":"2026-06-02T16:31:34","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T16:31:34","slug":"jennifer-lopez-shuts-down-brett-goldstein-dating-question-on-today-with-savannah-guthrie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/jennifer-lopez-shuts-down-brett-goldstein-dating-question-on-today-with-savannah-guthrie\/","title":{"rendered":"Jennifer Lopez shuts down Brett Goldstein dating question on &#8216;Today&#8217; with Savannah Guthrie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F06%2Fjennifer-lopez-shuts-down-brett-goldstein-dating-rumors.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Jennifer Lopez shut down rumors that she\u2019s dating her \u201cOffice Romance\u201d co-star Brett Goldstein in an awkward live TV moment.<\/p>\n<p>During <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zeGBRylEow8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tuesday\u2019s \u201cToday\u201d show<\/a>, Savannah Guthrie asked her guests whether speculation about their offscreen chemistry is true, a question that seemingly caught Lopez by surprise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s never a time when I\u2019m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don\u2019t try to put me with the person,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/02\/style\/jennifer-lopez-wears-head-to-toe-red-leather-to-promote-office-romance-on-today-show\/\">\u201cHustlers\u201d star<\/a> replied.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Jennifer Lopez shut down Savannah Guthrie\u2019s question about her relationship with Brett Goldstein (pictured together above) during Tuesday\u2019s episode of \u201cToday.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">TODAY<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Lopez (seen above with Goldstein) denied she\u2019s dating her \u201cOffice Romance\u201d co-star. <span class=\"credit\">TODAY<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Goldstein chimed in, \u201cI think if you stand near her, that\u2019s what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guthrie then quipped, \u201cThat\u2019s what you wish would happen,\u201d as the \u201cTed Lasso\u201d star joked, \u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019ve been standing so close this whole time.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, Guthrie wasn\u2019t satisfied with the duo\u2019s responses to her question, telling Lopez specifically that she circled around the question.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOK, but I\u2019ll just say, because I\u2019m me and you know me, that was not an answer,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Guthrie (pictured above interviewing the actors) kept pushing Lopez to see if she\u2019s dating Goldstein. <span class=\"credit\">TODAY<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Lopez pointed out that she\u2019s always accused of being in a relationship with her co-stars.  <span class=\"credit\">TODAY<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThat was not an answer? It was an answer!\u201d Lopez replied to the journalist, noting that there were previously unfounded rumors <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/28\/celebrity-news\/jennifer-lopez-and-kevin-costner-seen-together-at-kemo-sabe-in-aspen\/\">about her and Kevin Costner<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Lopez added, \u201cIt happens all the time. Doesn\u2019t make it true.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guthrie then pointed out that the \u201cLet\u2019s Get Loud\u201d singer deals with all the constant romance rumors because she\u2019s \u201ca hot, eligible single person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOK, so you\u2019re not dating in real life?\u201d Guthrie asked again.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot dating,\u201d Lopez said as Goldstein added, \u201cCorrect.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>\u201cIt happens all the time. It\u2019s not fair!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lopez and Goldstein have sparked dating rumors while promoting <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/26\/entertainment\/office-romance-la-premiere-red-carpet-jennifer-lopez-brett-goldstein-adam-sandler-and-more\/\">their new \u201cOffice Romance\u201d rom-com,<\/a> out Friday on Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>In the film, Lopez plays a CEO named Jacqueline Cruz, who falls in love with her new hire, Daniel Blanchflower, played by Goldstein.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Lopez and Goldstein (seen above at the \u201cOffice Romance\u201d LA premiere in May) have sparked dating rumors on the press tour for their rom-com. <span class=\"credit\">FilmMagic<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Lopez (pictured above in NYC on Tuesday) previously gushed about having \u201cgreat chemistry\u201d with Goldstein. <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>At the movie\u2019s New York City red carpet premiere last month, Lopez <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/13\/celebrity-news\/jennifer-lopez-boasts-about-great-chemistry-with-office-romance-co-star-brett-goldstein-as-they-look-smitten-on-red-carpet\/\">gushed over the \u201cgreat chemistry\u201d<\/a> she has with Goldstein.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt just grew as we did the film together,\u201d she <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/jennifer-lopez-says-she-and-brett-goldstein-had-great-chemistry-in-office-romance-11974129\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">explained to People<\/a>. \u201cI expected more of a rough guy, but you get this kind, gentle but also very smart person that is so charming.
