what would have been the icon\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/01\/opinion\/remembering-marilyn-monroe-on-her-100th-birthday\/\">100th birthday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Drawn from the estate of her close friends Norman and Hedda Rosten, the June 1 sale featured personal items, letters and keepsakes offering a rare glimpse into Monroe\u2019s private life.<\/p>\n<p>Leading the sale was a <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/13\/style\/inside-the-2027-dior-cruise-fashion-show-miley-cyrus-macaulay-culkin-anya-taylor-joy-and-more-celebs\/\">Christian Dior<\/a> suit worn during her 1954 honeymoon with Joe DiMaggio, which achieved \u00a3334,665 (roughly $449,493.58), a record for a non-performance-worn Monroe garment.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image correspondence revealed Miller\u2019s struggle to preserve their relationship and offered an unfiltered look at one of the most famous marriages of the 20th century.<\/p>\n<figure href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/01\/entertainment\/author-james-patterson-makes-bombshell-claim-about-marilyn-monroes-death\/\">Monroe\u2019s death<\/a> in which Greenson recounted the events leading up to her final day and its aftermath.<\/p>\n<p>Other highlights included a rhinestone bracelet at \u00a383,666 (roughly $112,419.49), a Faberg\u00e9 clock at \u00a374,370 (roughly
