ex fires back at abuse allegations, accuses actress of exploiting daughter with &#8216;adult sexual humor&#8217; posts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F06%2F129621025.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Rumer Willis\u2019 ex-boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas, denied <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/28\/parents\/rumer-willis-accuses-derek-richard-thomas-of-insane-domestic-violence-custody-battle\/\">the actress\u2019s allegations of abuse<\/a> and accused her of exploiting their daughter online.<\/p>\n<p>In new legal documents, the singer claimed he never acted \u201caggressively or inappropriately\u201d\u00a0toward Willis despite the latter\u2019s bombshell allegations from their ongoing child custody battle, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/06\/03\/derek-richard-thomas-denies-aggressive-claims\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TMZ reported <\/a>Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas also alleged Willis has used their 3-year-old daughter, Louetta, in sponsored \u201cadult sexual humor\u201d content that he never consented to.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Rumer Willis\u2019 ex-boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas (seen here with the actress in 2023) denied abuse accusations in a new filing obtained by TMZ on Wednesday. <span class=\"credit\">Chelsea Lauren\/for Common Ground \/ Shutterstock<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The singer (photographed above in March 2023) stated that he never acted \u201caggressively or inappropriately\u201d\u00a0towards the actress. <span class=\"credit\">Michael Simon \/ Shutterstock<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>According to Thomas, he is an active father who FaceTimes the toddler every day, despite being allegedly prohibited from seeing her by Willis, 37, and her changing \u201cconditions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Common Ground crooner also claimed that the \u201cNow and Then\u201d star initially moved with her daughter to Idaho to escape the toxic air quality during the <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/celebrity-news\/celebrities-impacted-by-palisades-fire\/\">2025 Los Angeles wildfires<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, however, then allegedly tried to stay in the north-central state permanently.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>He also accused Willis of using their daughter, Louetta (seen above), in sponsored \u201cadult sexual humor.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">rumerwillis\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Thomas alleged he never approved of his daughter (seen here with Willis) being in the content. <span class=\"credit\">rumerwillis\/instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Additionally, Thomas denied allegations that he was on drugs and didn\u2019t pay child support, stating that he would be more than willing to contribute $2,350 of his monthly income.<\/p>\n<p>He also requested a custody schedule for visitation and communication \u201cthat will stabilize what has been an otherwise chaotic and unreasonable situation for Louetta.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Thomas (seen above in 2022) also denied that he was on drugs. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for ESPRIT<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Last week, Willis (seen here) accused Thomas of abuse in a new filing from their child custody case. <span class=\"credit\">rumerwillis\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Last week, the \u201cSorority Row\u201d star accused Thomas of  \u201cincessant domestic violence\u201d in a new document after the latter requested child custody and visitation rights in July 2025, per Us Weekly.<\/p>\n<p>Rumer, who requested primary custody, claimed Thomas had a \u201cpersistent pattern\u201d of \u201cinsane emotional abuse\u201d that would allegedly occur in front of Louetta <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/08\/23\/celebrity-news\/rumer-willis-boyfriend-derek-richard-thomas-break-up-1-year-after-baby-louettas-birth\/\">ahead of their breakup<\/a> in August 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe engaged in ongoing coercive control through prolonged circular verbal attacks that he is unable or unwilling to stop. He constantly called me a liar with no reason behind it. He told me I was a bad girlfriend all the time.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Rumer continued, \u201cHe had paranoid behavior saying that my mother and I were plotting to take Louetta away from him. He got very mad at me when I would not let his mother smoke weed in my house when Louetta was a newborn.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The internet personality claimed Thomas\u2019 actions left their daughter \u201ctraumatized,\u201d citing his alleged actions for why she doesn\u2019t want him to have visitation rights \u201cwithout a 730 child custody evaluation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Rumer accused him of being \u201cso high\u201d and unable to watch Louetta for even a few \u201cminutes without her rolling off the couch.\u201d Rumer alleged that Louetta once fell off the bed in November 2023.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Rumer (seen here) claimed Thomas\u2019 actions escalated after their daughter was born. <span class=\"credit\">YouTube\/@TheInsideEditPodcast<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Moore (seen above) supported her daughter\u2019s claims. <span class=\"credit\">demimoore\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Moore also added to the allegations, claiming that Thomas was aggressive when Louetta was born, and he had \u201cno consideration to Rumer, the baby, the process, or anyone else for that matter.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Thomas initially responded to the filing, stating, \u201cI have committed no acts of domestic violence in any form, including any active coercive control.
