This is really bad. And we usually, when they\u2019re all the way up into here, we know before we go in that they\u2019re cancer.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stone, 68, said she was certain that her tumors were benign.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Sharon Stone (seen above) revealed why her second marriage ended. <span class=\"credit\">David Begnaud\/Youtube<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The \u201cBasic Instinct\u201d actress said on the \u201cPerson Who Believed In Me\u201d podcast Monday she learned she had tumors in her breasts in the early 2000s. <span class=\"credit\">David Begnaud\/Youtube<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cI said, \u2018I don\u2019t have cancer,&#8217;\u201d she shared on the podcast. \u201cAnd [the doctor] said, \u2018You don\u2019t get to decide that.\u2019 And I said, \u2018I do. I do get to decide that. I\u2019m deciding.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, the \u201cCasino\u201d star said she decided she would undergo the surgery \u201cbecause I\u2019m not f\u2013king around.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Stone\u2019s then-husband made it clear that he did not support her decision.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_15-0\">\u201cMy husband said, \u2018This is ridiculous,&#8217;\u201d she remembered. \u201cAnd got up and left the room.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The \u201cCasino\u201d star (seen above with Phil Bronstein) said her then-husband was \u201cfurious\u201d over her decision to undergo the surgery. <span class=\"credit\">Corbis via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">A doctor suggested Stone (seen above in a bikini) should get a bilateral mastectomy. <span class=\"credit\">sharon Stone\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_17-0\">Podcast host Begnaud then asked the Stone, \u201cWhich part was ridiculous?\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_19-0\">She responded, \u201cThat I would have a bilateral [mastectomy]. You need to sit down.\u2019 And I said, \u2018I make the decisions, not you,&#8217;\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n<p>Stone said her husband\u2019s reaction ultimately led to the demise of their relationship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat was the end of the marriage. That was it. He was done with me then. It was over,\u201d she claimed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was just over in the room. You could just tell. It was over. It was just over. He thought I was ridiculous. He thought it was foolish.
