She says f\u2013k off and then runs off to throw up,\u201d he said at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Head added, \u201cI just can\u2019t imagine my life without Sarah. She says f\u2013k off and then runs off to throw up.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Head (seen above with Fisher in 2005) also said in his 2018 interview that he could never \u201cimagine my life without Sarah.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Head <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/05\/celebrity-news\/see-photos-of-buffy-the-vampire-slayer-star-anthony-heads-final-red-carpet-appearance-before-death\/\">made his final red carpet appearance <\/a>at the \u201cDungeons &amp; Dragons: Honour Among Thieves\u201d UK premiere on March 23, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The late star was best known for playing Rupert Giles in all seven seasons of \u201cBuffy the Vampire Slayer\u201d from 1997 to 2003.<\/p>\n<p>Giles is a Watcher tasked with mentoring and training Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar), which leads to them forming a father-daughter-like relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Head\u2019s co-stars, Michelle Trachtenberg and Nicholas Brendon, both died within the last two years.<\/p>\n<p>Trachtenberg, who played Buffy\u2019s sister, Dawn Summers, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/26\/celebrity-news\/michelle-trachtenberg-gossip-girl-and-buffy-the-vampire-slayer-actress-dead-at-39\/\">died in February 2025<\/a> due to <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/04\/16\/entertainment\/michelle-trachtenbergs-cause-of-death-revealed-months-after-gossip-girl-stars-sudden-passing-at-39\/\">complications of diabetes mellitus<\/a>. I still don\u2019t understand how it never came away with any Emmys, or any of those awards,\u201d he said. \u201cPeople [tell me] how much it meant to them at the time they were growing up, how it resonated, and bless them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Head said fans told him they considered Giles their own \u201cfather figure that was missing in their lives for various reasons.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that\u2019s part of its longevity,\u201d the British actor added. \u201cIt hit home.
