{"id":4925,"date":"2026-06-06T18:41:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-06T18:41:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/hulk-hogans-final-death-report-released-after-malpractice-claim\/"},"modified":"2026-06-06T18:41:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-06T18:41:11","slug":"hulk-hogans-final-death-report-released-after-malpractice-claim","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/hulk-hogans-final-death-report-released-after-malpractice-claim\/","title":{"rendered":"Hulk Hogan&#8217;s final death report released after malpractice claim"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F06%2F129991093.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Hulk Hogan\u2019s death has been ruled natural nearly a year after <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/07\/24\/celebrity-news\/wrestling-legend-hulk-hogan-dead-at-71-report\/\">his passing at age 71<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.com\/news\/article-15878539\/Hulk-Hogans-death-report-revealed.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> to the Daily Mail<\/a>, the Clearwater, Florida, police department confirmed findings that the pro wrestler suffered \u201can attended natural death\u201d before officially closing an investigation on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The 72-page report also noted that \u201cthrough the course of the investigation, there has been no evidence to indicate any criminal wrongdoing related to his death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Per the outlet, investigators wrote, \u201cFollowing an exhaustive review of the statements, medical records, surveillance footage from within the residence, and a visual inspection of Mr. Bollea\u2019s body, there has been no evidence to indicate the death of Terry Bollea was anything other than natural.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>In their statement, the Clearwater Police Department praised the Hogan family \u2014 including his widow Sky Daily, kids Nick and Brooke Hogan, and attorney Kevin Hayslett \u2014 for \u201ctheir willingness to allow our investigators access to very personal information, at a time when they were grieving and struggling,\u201d noting that it \u201cwas extremely helpful.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The investigation into the death of Hulk Hogan (seen above in 2014) has been closed.  <span class=\"credit\">NBAE via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>\u201cThere has been no evidence to indicate the death of Terry Bollea was anything other than natural,\u201d investigators wrote of Hogan\u2019s death. He\u2019s seen above in 2015.  <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>They added, \u201cWe would not have had the legal justification to obtain much of the information without their cooperation.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0WWE\u00a0star, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, died on July 24, 2025, after collapsing at his Florida estate and being transported to a local hospital. <\/p>\n<p>Investigators had gone over recordings from the incident and interviewed witnesses, including the athlete\u2019s occupational therapist \u2014 who was said to have been present when he stopped breathing and attempted to get help \u2014 before initially determining he died at a local hospital after <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/07\/31\/celebrity-news\/hulk-hogans-cause-of-death-revealed\/\">suffering an acute myocardial infarction<\/a> at his Florida home. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Claims had previously been made that the wrestler\u2019s phrenic nerve had been \u201csevered.\u201d He\u2019s pictured here in 2024.  <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The pro wrestler died on July 24, 2025, in Florida. He\u2019s seen above in 2024. <span class=\"credit\">Anadolu via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The therapist allegedly claimed after a 911 call was made to the wrestler\u2019s home that Hogan had <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/08\/21\/celebrity-news\/hulk-hogans-cause-of-death-may-be-medical-malpractice-report\/\">been a victim of medical malpractice<\/a>, according to law enforcement sources for TMZ, and that the occupational therapist claimed at the scene that a surgeon allegedly \u201csevered\u201d the WWE star\u2019s phrenic nerve during a recently performed surgery. <\/p>\n<p>Per the Cleveland Clinic, the phrenic nerve is primarily responsible for breathing, and damage to it can cause serious breathing issues.<\/p>\n<p>TMZ\u2019s sources also claimed that the athlete had abruptly stopped breathing and did not \u201chave a chest-clenching episode\u201d during the cardiac arrest. <\/p>\n<p>But the occupational therapist pointed out during a later police interview that he\u2019s \u201cnot a neurosurgeon,\u201d and said he\u2019d had limited interactions with Hulk after only having been employed by him for two weeks prior to his death.  <\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/07\/31\/celebrity-news\/hulk-hogans-cause-of-death-revealed\/\">July 2025 autopsy <\/a>stated that Hulk died of acute myocardial infarction, and that he had a history of atrial fibrillation and leukemia CLL. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Clearwater Police thanked the wrestler\u2019s family, including wife Sky Daily (pictured above with Hulk in a social media upload) for their cooperation.  <span class=\"credit\">hulkhogan\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Daughter Brooke, pictured above with Hulk in 2009, previously raised questions about the death.  <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In October 2025, the family filed a petition to extend the statute of limitations in order to complete an investigation into the medical malpractice claims. <\/p>\n<p>Daughter Brooke had previously <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/08\/05\/celebrity-news\/brooke-hogan-questions-father-hulks-leukemia-diagnosis\/\">raised concerns about the wrestler\u2019s \u201cweird\u201d death<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>In August 2025, the actress questioned her father\u2019s leukemia diagnosis, telling Bubba the Love Sponge at the time, \u201cWe don\u2019t have cancer that\u00a0runs in our family.
