In another video, she shared with her followers, \u201cI have a baby to take care of. I have to work and make money.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added, \u201cI\u2019m doing it on my own, which is hard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But a source close to the former couple told us that the \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d alum had been paying for everything related to his ex and his daughter, including the rent, their living expenses, and their health insurance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey may have split but all he wants is for Elsie to be happy and in a good place,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The model and the comedian \u2014 seen here in April 2025 \u2014 split last month just five months after welcoming Scottie. <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Hewitt later shared on social media that she was looking for an assistant to help her with her baby. She also shared that she had to work and make money, noting, \u201cI\u2019m doing it on my own, which is hard.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">elsie\/instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cHis main priority right now is making sure that Elsie and Scottie are looked after, so it\u2019s utterly confusing to everyone who knows them why she would possibly post anything about him not supporting her,\u201d they continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, they have had personal disagreements and there has been a breakdown in the relationship but he is fully committed to being a good dad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A source also told us Davidson \u2014 who\u2019s openly struggled with mental health issues \u2014 has been getting a lot of support from his comedian pals and is doing well amid his breakup from Hewitt.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>But a source told Page Six that Davidson was paying for both his ex and daughter\u2019s living expenses, including the rent and health insurance.
