Lopez<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom her perspective, he\u2019s happier than he\u2019s been in a long time and she feels like it could be healthy for him to keep putting that energy into himself, his work and his family instead of jumping into a relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Jennifer Garner believes Ben Affleck aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The insider added that Garner, 54, isn\u2019t trying to influence Affleck\u2019s personal life, however, and would support whatever decision he ultimately makes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat said, she trusts Ben to make his own decisions and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/22\/celebrity-news\/exes-ben-affleck-jennifer-garner-match-in-blue-in-la-outing\/\">supports him either way<\/a>,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBen isn\u2019t ruling out dating and would be open to putting himself out there again,\u201d the source said. \u201cHe has friends who have offered to set him up, but he\u2019s also <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/06\/29\/ben-affleck-and-matt-damon-get-their-caffeine-fix-on-set-and-more-star-snaps\/\">incredibly busy right now<\/a> and isn\u2019t sure he has the time for a his family and several upcoming projects, and \u201cthat\u2019s where most of his energy is going.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cBatman\u201d star and the \u201c13 Going on 30\u201d actress \u2014 who were\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/10\/05\/jennifer-garner-and-ben-affleck-are-officially-divorced\/\">married for 10 years, from 2005 until 2015<\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/11\/30\/parents\/ben-affleck-jennifer-garner-are-mature-co-parents\/\">coparent their three children<\/a>: Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 14.<\/p>\n<p>The exes recently reunited last month as they <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/28\/celebrity-news\/ben-affleck-jennifer-garner-reunite-to-daughter-violet-20-to-urgent-care\/\">took their relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lopez and Affleck first began dating in 2002 after working together on the set of \u201cGigli.\u201d They got engaged for the first time in November of that year but called it quits in January 2004.
