This is interesting.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thornton called the scene \u201cfunny,\u201d adding, \u201cAnd I didn\u2019t care.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Billy Bob Thornton spoke out about his full-frontal scene in \u201cLandman\u201d Season 2, telling Us Weekly that he \u201cdidn\u2019t care\u201d about its shocking nature. The employee freaks out and asks him not to rape her as Ali Larter\u2019s character, Angela, steps out of the bathroom and tells Tommy, \u201cPut your d\u2013k away!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Angela tells the frightened woman of Tommy, \u201cHe eats Cialis [an erectile disfunction medication] like M&amp;Ms and runs into door jams all morning with that thing. I\u2019m so sorry about that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After the hotel employee leaves, Angela tells Tommy, \u201cPoor thing. If she wasn\u2019t a lesbian when she walked in here, she\u2019s a f\u2013king lesbian now.\u201d Tommy then threatens to \u201cf\u2013k the whole breakfast.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLandman\u201d co-creator Christian Wallace clarified <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-features\/landman-finale-season-3-reset-co-creator-interview-1236477449\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">to the Hollywood Reporter <\/a>in January that Thornton\u2019s scene wasn\u2019t as revealing as audiences may have believed.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Thornton and Ali Larter (pictured above on \u201cLandman\u201d) star in the Paramount+ series created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace. <span class=\"credit\">Emerson Miller\/Paramount+<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Thornton plays Tommy Norris in the series, while Larter plays Angela. (The actors are pictured together above in a scene from the Paramount+ series.) <span class=\"credit\">Ryan Green\/Paramount+<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe had an on-set intimacy coordinator, and the original prosthetic she brought in made everyone laugh,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cWe were like, \u2018No.\u2019 So we went with a more humble alternative.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut it is surprising to me that people think that was actually Billy doing full-frontal nudity,\u201d Wallace added. \u201cSo I should say props to our intimacy coordinator for making it extremely realistic, and to the props team. They had a whole rig, as Billy called it: \u2018Got my rig on.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In December 2025, Paramount renewed\u00a0\u201cLandman\u201d\u00a0for a third season.<\/p>\n<p>The Paramount+ series, which stars Thornton as a landman for an oil company in West Texas, also stars Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Michelle Randolph and Sam Elliott.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cLandman\u201d has been renewed for a third season. He writes great stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s created quite an empire \u2014 and you have to respect him for that.
