And we were saying goodbye, and I told her that I was just diagnosed, and she said, \u2018When is your surgery?\u2019 And I said, \u2018The 26th,&#8217;\u201d Oteri, 63, recalled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd she said, \u2018All right, you\u2019re gonna get tired of me.\u2019 And she says, \u2018I\u2019m going through this with you.\u2019 This woman, like, before my surgery, after my surgery, she just, she goes, \u2018I am with you on this.\u2019 I was blown away.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cScary Movie\u201d star also described Biden, 75, as \u201ca woman with a huge heart.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>She told host Chelsea Handler (seen above) about the event and the discussion about women\u2019s health issues and research. <span class=\"credit\">YouTube\/chelseahandler<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cThen at the end, Jill came up to me. And we were saying goodbye, and I told her that I was just diagnosed, and she said, \u2018When is your surgery?\u2019 And I said, \u2018The 26th,&#8217;\u201d Oteri said. <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThrough everything, she\u2019s like checking on me, and just a beautiful human being,\u201d Oteri said. \u201cSo, I never felt so supported by my friends, my girlfriends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The actress also gave an update on her condition, sharing that she feels \u201cgreat\u201d and \u201ceverything looks normal, fine\u201d after she underwent a second lumpectomy\u00a0a few days before appearing on the podcast.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/tests-procedures\/lumpectomy\/about\/pac-20394650\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Mayo Clinic<\/a> defines a lumpectomy as a \u201csurgery to remove a portion of tissue from a breast. It\u2019s most often used to treat breast cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cAnd she said, \u2018All right, you\u2019re gonna get tired of me.\u2019 And she says, \u2018I\u2019m going through this with you,&#8217;\u201d the actress recalled Biden (seen above) telling her. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cThis woman, like, before my surgery, after my surgery, she just, she goes, \u2018I am with you on this.\u2019 I was blown away,\u201d Oteri continued.
