He\u2019s shown here at his record release party at the Barfly on August 24, 2002 in Hollywood. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Feldman\u00a0is releasing a new single called \u201cWhat Am I Here 4\u201d on June 22nd and is celebrating his birthday with two performances in California the weekend of July 25th.<\/p>\n<p>Feldman was in Chicago to attend an anniversary celebration for the 1986 classic \u201cStand By Me,\u201d along with co-stars Jerry O\u2019Connell and Wil Wheaton.<\/p>\n<p>Their co-star River Phoenix died of a drug overdose on Halloween 1993 at just 23 years old.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Feldman, whose turned to a career in singing, is releasing a new song. He stopped by Michael Jackson\u2019s childhood home in Gary, Indiana for an  impromptu visit to \u201cpay respects\u201d to the late singer.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson died at the age of 50 after suffering a heart attack caused by a drug overdose on June 25, 2009.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re on our way to Chicago to tear it up,\u201d Feldman, who competed on \u201cDancing With the Stars\u201d last fall but was eliminated first, said in a video on social media. \u201cGonna be a great night.
