I do,\u201d the sports journalist replied. <\/p>\n<p>When the Loverboy founder asked him if he loves Batula, he not only said that he does, but recalled the moment he first told her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean yeah. I said \u2018I love you\u2019 that night I left your guys\u2019 room to her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wilson was referring to a heated episode of the Bravo show in which he comforted Batula after Cooke screamed expletives at her in a blowout fight while they were still married.<\/p>\n<p>In the August 2025 scene, Wilson can be seen walking into Cooke and Batula\u2019s room at night, with the latter in bed alone. He says, \u201cLove you, OK? Text me if you need anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Wilson further explained that he told Batula, \u201cLove you, OK? Text me if you need anything\u201d after a blowout fight between her and Cooke over the summer while they were still married. <span class=\"credit\">Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Even though the confession made Cooke question their relationship timeline, Wilson maintained that things between him and Batula didn\u2019t turn romantic until February.  <span class=\"credit\">Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI really care about her a f\u2013k ton,\u201d the Missouri native insisted to Cooke.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the revelation, Wilson maintained that things didn\u2019t turn romantic between him and the swimsuit designer until February.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI get everyone wants to go back and watch the show and be like, \u2018They were hooking up.\u2019 We weren\u2019t,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI haven\u2019t gotten to the point where I\u2019ve told her or myself that I\u2019m in love or not,\u201d Wilson further explained. \u201cBut I do love her and have. I have cared about her for a long time. And it\u2019s hard to say that right to your face.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Batula and Wilson confessed to their secret relationship in March \u2014 two months after she and Cooke announced their separation. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/ West Wilson<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Back in April, Cooke accused his ex (pictured in happier times) of having an \u201cemotional affair\u201d with Wilson during their marriage. <span class=\"credit\">imkylecooke\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He also said that he hopes Cooke will see the way he cares for Batula and that it will \u201cat least lighten the worry\u201d he feels for his estranged wife.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo matter how this shakes out, I appreciate you talking to me today,\u201d he concluded. <\/p>\n<p>Wilson previously shared that he and and his former friend \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/26\/entertainment\/where-west-wilson-and-kyle-cooke-stand-after-three-hour-conversation-about-amanda-batula\/\">made a lot of progress<\/a>\u201d\u00a0during their three-hour conversation, which took place weeks after the <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/02\/entertainment\/kyle-cooke-amanda-batula-make-sex-life-confession-during-summer-house-reunion\/\">Season 10 reunion <\/a>wrapped filming.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not gonna say [things are] good,\u201d Wilson\u00a0clarified on a May episode\u00a0of his and Sophie Cunningham\u2019s \u201cShow Me Something\u201d podcast. \u201cLike, nothing\u2019s perfect right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>However, Batula and Wilson have denied that their relationship overlapped with any others, especially when they were questioned by their co-stars at the Season 10 reunion, as seen above. <span class=\"credit\">Clifton Prescod\/Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>In Wilson\u2019s perspective he and Cooke \u201cmade a lot of progress\u201d\u00a0during the conversation that took place weeks after the reunion wrapped filming. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/ West Wilson<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt was obviously awkward and weird to start, but \u2026 it was not a gunfight,\u201d Wilson shared with listeners. \u201cIt was very calm and peaceful.
