boyfriend, Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson.<\/p>\n<p>The viral baseball team player called the \u201cWheel of Fortune\u201d host \u201ca great guy\u201d in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/savannah-bananas-jackson-olson-met-maggie-sajaks-dad-pat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an interview with US Weekly <\/a>published Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverybody\u2019s nervous to meet the father of the person they\u2019re dating, or mother or both,\u201d Olson explained.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image himself as \u201ca weird\u201d and \u201cvery out there person,\u201d and shared that he got to be his authentic self when he met Pat, 79.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not going to hold back who I am as a person, and people seem to enjoy that company,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy that I\u2019m able to be myself truly in every aspect now,\u201d Olson added.<\/p>\n<figure href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/22\/celebrity-news\/pat-sajaks-daughter-maggie-dating-savannah-bananas-star-player-jackson-olson\/\"> confirmed their relationship <\/a>on social media last week with a PDA-filled picture from Disneyland.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cApplications closed,\u201d the pair captioned their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DXZ5iObDQWo\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">joint Instagram post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In his US Weekly interview, Olson explained that he and Maggie live on opposite coasts: he\u2019s in Savannah, Georgia, and she\u2019s in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n<p>But despite the distance, Olson said the couple \u201care able to come together and just have an awesome relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure sure you\u2019re setting aside time to see each other and make really cool experiences happen because a start of a relationship never happens again,\u201d he told the outlet. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou only get one chance at a start of a relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Olson also admitted that he\u2019s extra nervous during Savannah Bananas games when Maggie is in the stands.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, I want to make my parents proud \u2026 [and] now I want to make Maggie proud, I want to make my teammates proud,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to make everyone know I\u2019m a good person and McCall<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The exes, who shared a 19-year age gap, were first linked in April 2024 when they were spotted kissing and holding hands on a walk in LA. .<\/p>\n<p>Maggie has made a name for herself as the social media correspondent on \u201cWheel of Fortune,\u201d a job she\u2019s had since the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>She previously filled in on the game show during her dad\u2019s health
