F\u2013ked up what happened to you in Vegas.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Olivia Wilde was mortified when an A-list actor got it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time, she told herself, \u201cNo one\u2019s gonna look because no one\u2019s paying attention.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The \u201cBooksmart\u201d director said Wednesday she then realized the news had really gone \u201cwide.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Call Her able to \u201claugh about\u201d the \u201cincredibly traumatizing\u201d moment, said she was able to \u201cmuscle through the most insane\u201d situation and finish her speech before \u201cdissolving into a puddle\u201d backstage.<\/p>\n<p>As for whether she believes the headline-making moment was \u201cpurposeful\u201d on her ex Jason Sudeikis\u2019 part, she \u201cneed[s] to believe\u201d it wasn\u2019t \u2014 as he has claimed \u2014 \u201cin order to continue\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/28\/celebrity-news\/olivia-wilde-reunites-with-jason-sudeikis-after-ex-harry-styles-engagement-to-zoe-kravitz\/\">co-parenting with him<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The former couple, who <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/11\/13\/olivia-wilde-and-jason-sudeikis-have-reportedly-split\/\">were together between 2011 and 2020<\/a>, share son Otis, 12, and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2016\/10\/16\/olivia-wilde-and-jason-sudeikis-welcome-baby-girl\/\">daughter Daisy<\/a>, 9.<\/p>\n<p>Wilde noted that \u201clawyers can be f\u2013ked up and do super f\u2013ked up things,\u201d but acknowledged, \u201cI think people are never their best selves when they\u2019re engaging in that kind of process. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image know it hurt him to see it happen to me,\u201d she continued. \u201cI know he felt very, very bad that it happened to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cHouse\u201d alum, who has \u201cdone a lot of therapy\u201d about the \u201cvulnerable\u201d and \u201chigh stress\u201d moment, is confident she can \u201cmake it through anything\u201d after that.<\/p>\n<p>Wilde <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/08\/24\/olivia-wilde-not-surprised-by-jason-sudeikis-serving-papers\/\">addressed the scandal<\/a> in a August 2022 Variety interview, the same month she <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/08\/10\/olivia-wilde-slams-jason-sudeikis-for-aggresively-serving-papers\/\">slammed Sudeikis\u2019 \u201coutrageous\u201d and \u201caggressive\u201d tactics<\/a> in court documents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was not something that was entirely surprising to me,\u201d she said of the \u201cvicious\u201d move. \u201cI mean, there\u2019s a reason I left that shared their coparenting ups and downs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese kids are consistently getting the best of us in a way that when we were together was not possible,\u201d the \u201cI Want Your Sex\u201d star insisted. \u201cWe did not work together, but we work really well separated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pair, notably, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/09\/25\/jason-sudeikis-and-olivia-wilde-settle-custody-battle-actor-to-pay-27500-per-month\/\">settled their custody battle<\/a> in 2023, with Sudeikis reportedly
