star Katherine LaNasa describes ex-husband Dennis Hopper&#8217;s ghost haunting her"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F06%2F131288340.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Katherine LaNasa shared that her ex-husband Dennis Hopper\u2019s ghost came to her several times after <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2010\/05\/30\/dennis-hopper-dead-at-74\/\">his 2010 death at age 74. <\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_6-0\">While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=doD62bWgmBw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">confessing to W Magazine<\/a> in an interview published on Tuesday, that she does in fact believe in ghosts, \u201cThe Pitt\u201d star explained, \u201cThe ghost of Dennis Hopper would not leave me alone for a really long time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_6-0\">The exes were married from 1989 to 1992 but were split up for a \u201cvery long time\u201d when Hopper visited LaNasa, 59.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_6-0\">\u201cI was the last wife that he\u2019d been with that he wasn\u2019t currently divorcing, so I think that level of intimacy when you\u2019re dying is maybe only something you can do with a partner?\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Katherine LaNasa (pictured here in 2025) revealed that her ex-husband Dennis Hopper \u201cwould not leave me alone for a really long time\u201d after his 2010 death. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for End Well Project<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>LaNasa (pictured here with Hopper in 1988) said he first visited her as a ghost \u201clooking like when he was at the Academy Awards\u201d and in a wheelchair. <span class=\"credit\">Leonello Bertolucci<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>LaNasa elaborated on the \u201cscary\u201d way Hopper visited her for the first time, detailing, \u201cHe came one time looking like when he was at the Academy Awards.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSpeed\u201d actor was in a wheelchair and fell down which was \u201csuper upsetting\u201d for the \u201cTwo and a Half Men\u201d actress.<\/p>\n<p>Hopper would also \u201ccome over\u201d LaNasa in a sweat, to which she asked him to leave her alone. <\/p>\n<p>She claimed the ghost of Hopper obliged.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The \u201cEasy Rider\u201d actor (pictured here with his ex in 1990) also came over \u201cThe Pitt\u201d star in a sweat. <span class=\"credit\">Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Hopper (pictured here together in 1991) obliged and didn\u2019t bother LaNasa again. <span class=\"credit\">Gamma-Rapho via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThen I felt really weird about it,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd then the day that I told someone how weird I felt about it, I walked home an odd way and ran into a gallery that had all of his photographs up, and a photograph of him in the very back of the gallery with a fedora on winking at the camera.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For LaNasa, she took the image as a sign of Hopper letting her go. <\/p>\n<p>However, the late star visited his ex one more time in a dream.<\/p>\n<p>The former flames were \u201cin a cafeteria in Greece\u201d and Hopper let LaNasa know he was okay.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Hopper visited LaNasa (pictured here together in 1990) once more in a dream to let her know he was okay and not in pain after his passing at age 74 for prostate cancer. <span class=\"credit\">Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>LaNasa and Hopper were married from 1989 to 1992 and shared son Henry (pictured here with his dad in 2009). <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for CineVegas<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The \u201cBig Love\u201d star never heard from him again.<\/p>\n<p>After LaNasa and Hopper \u2014 who shared son Henry, 35 \u2014 divorced in the early 90s, the latter tied the knot with actress Victoria Duffy in 1996.<\/p>\n<p>The duo was married for 14 years before the \u201cEasy Rider\u201d star filed for divorce \u2014 five months before he passed from complications of prostate cancer. <\/p>\n<p>For her part, LaNasa re-married actor French Stewart in 1998.
