On Wednesday, news broke that the actress had died on Tuesday at the age of 35 following a case of meningitis and a blood infection leading to sepsis, according to her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez.<\/p>\n
TMZ reported that Chase had been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital earlier in June for malnutrition.<\/p>\n

Hernandez went on to write that Chase was diagnosed with several \u201cserious\u201d blood infections and meningitis. <\/p>\n
\u201cHer condition has become critical, and the doctors have told me she may not have much time left,\u201d he explained. \u201cAll she ever wanted was a place where we could live together, feel safe, and be happy. Now, more than ever, I want to give her that sense of home and peace in her final days.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
