{"id":5948,"date":"2026-06-18T02:08:17","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T02:08:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/ghastly-video-shows-lilo-stitch-actress-daveigh-chase-wasting-away-on-skid-row-months-before-death\/"},"modified":"2026-06-18T02:08:17","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T02:08:17","slug":"ghastly-video-shows-lilo-stitch-actress-daveigh-chase-wasting-away-on-skid-row-months-before-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/ghastly-video-shows-lilo-stitch-actress-daveigh-chase-wasting-away-on-skid-row-months-before-death\/","title":{"rendered":"Ghastly video shows &#8216;Lilo &#038; Stitch&#8217; actress Daveigh Chase wasting away on Skid Row months before death"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F06%2F131351999.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Daveigh Chase found herself living on the streets of Downtown Los Angeles in the months leading up to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/17\/celebrity-news\/daveigh-chase-star-of-the-ring-and-lilo-stitch-dead-at-35\/\">her tragic death<\/a>, new video reveals.<\/p>\n<p>In the gruesome clip <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/17\/entertainment\/video-allegedly-shows-lilo-stitch-actress-daveigh-chase-living-on-skid-row\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">obtained exclusively by The Post<\/a>, the \u201cLilo &amp; Stitch\u201d actress can be seen looking extremely skinny and barely conscious on the floor of a tent or trailer in LA\u2019s notorious Skid Row.<\/p>\n<p>Chase\u2019s longtime manager, John Ryan, told the outlet he\u2019d been searching for Chase alongside her stepsister Gaia Brown with the help of a private investigator for months before they were made aware of the video in late 2025.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Daveigh Chase was seen living on the streets of Downtown Los Angeles in the months leading up to her death, according to a ghastly video obtained by The Post (pictured here). <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/whitewallstuntz<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The clip showed Chase looking incredibly frail and thin while lying down on the floor of what appears to be a tent located somewhere on LA\u2019s Skid Row.  <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/whitewallstuntz<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>He said he was able to speak with Chase on the phone so he could rescue her for treatment shortly after he came across the video, but the actress \u201cdisappeared\u201d once again by the time he made it to Skid Row.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan said he and Brown planned to nurse Chase back to health in LA before getting her to a rehab facility in Costa Rica owned by a friend he knew.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were so close to finding her,\u201d he told The Post. \u201cDaveigh was the sweetest and brightest light in Hollywood. I can\u2019t believe this is real. <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/17\/celebrity-news\/daveigh-chase-shared-legacy-she-hoped-to-leave-behind\/\">Her legacy and work<\/a> will live on forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before her death,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/help-daveigh-chase-find-comfort-peace?attribution_id=9ca22526-58c3-41d9-80f6-f0bf4dd001fe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a GoFundMe was created<\/a>\u00a0by her boyfriend Roy Hernandez to help Chase \u201cfind comfort and peace\u201d in her final days.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Chase (pictured here smiling) died June 16 after she contracted meningitis and a blood infection that turned her body septic and caused it to shut down.  <span class=\"credit\">Juan Rico \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The actress (seen above), known for \u201cThe Ring\u201d and \u201cDonnie Darko,\u201d was 35 years old. <span class=\"credit\">MediaPunch \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cDaveigh Chase, my girlfriend, has always been a light in my life. Many people know her as a talented childhood actor from \u2018Lilo &amp; Stitch,\u2019 \u2018Spirited Away,\u2019 and \u2018Donnie Darko.\u2019 But behind the scenes, she\u2019s faced more than her share of hardship,\u201d the campaign reads.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter a difficult childhood and a painful falling out with her family, Daveigh was bullied and struggled to find safety and happiness in downtown LA. When we met, I promised to protect her and give her the love and comfort she deserved. Together, we found moments of happiness and hope.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, according to Ryan, the man behind the account is an imposter allegedly grifting for unnecessary cash. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cApparently, a man claiming to be her \u2018boyfriend\u2019 that none of us friends or her family has heard of has set up a GoFundMe on \u2018her and her families behalf\u2019 that he set her up as the organizer. I can confirm Daveigh has a trust account set up at SAG to cover all costs,\u201d he told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cRing\u201d actress allegedly had <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/17\/entertainment\/lilo-stitch-actress-daveigh-chase-reportedly-had-millions-in-residuals-at-time-of-death\/\">received \u201cmillions\u201d in residuals<\/a> from her work as a child star.
