the child support he owed ahead of <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/17\/us-news\/elf-actor-faizon-love-busted-in-florida\/\">his Tuesday arrest<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The actor insisted in court documents earlier this year that he could not come up with the $250,000 he allegedly owes a woman named Tiffany Lee, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/06\/17\/faizon-love-said-he-cannot-afford-to-pay-child-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 58-year-old claimed he had not earned a single cent in the last 12 months \u2014 and that his highest gross income over the last five years was $13,000.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Hillsborough County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">New Line<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Additionally, Love defended skipping out on an April hearing in the child support case.<\/p>\n<p>He claimed to have been suffering from a medical emergency at the time, per the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cCouples Retreat\u201d star, who was ordered at the time to turn himself in for 90 days behind bars, was arrested Tuesday night in Florida\u2019s Hillsborough County.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span viewed by The Post.<\/p>\n<p>Love, who lives in Glendale, California, is being held without bond at Orient Road Jail in Tampa.<\/p>\n<p>In his mug shot, he stared stone-faced at the camera in an after a hotel clerk claimed he <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/02\/21\/us-news\/elf-actor-faizon-love-accused-of-attacking-hotel-clerk-with-credit-card-machine\/\">slammed a credit card machine into her head<\/a> and broke her glasses.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged attack took in August 2024.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption criminal trial.<\/p>\n<p>Love was also fined $500 and sentenced to a 180-day suspended jail sentence over a 2017 assault at the John Glenn Columbus International Airport in Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>The comedian pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor after he was caught on camera assaulting a valet.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a
