alleged boyfriend&#8217;s GoFundMe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F06%2Fdaveighchase-gfm.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Daveigh Chase\u2019s former manager is urging fans not to donate to the late actress\u2019 alleged boyfriend Roy Hernandez\u2019s viral GoFundMe.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, John Ryan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/06\/17\/daveigh-chase-friends-issue-warning-about-gofundme\/#continued\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told TMZ<\/a>, \u201cNeither her family nor her close friends know who this person is.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can confirm Daveigh has a SAG trust account with more than enough funds to cover all medical and related expenses,\u201d Chase\u2019s longtime friend added.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Daveigh Chase\u2019s former manager expressed doubt over the GoFundMe created for the late actress by her alleged boyfriend (pictured above). <span class=\"credit\">GoFundMe<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cNeither her family nor her close friends know who this person is,\u201d John Ryan told the outlet. <span class=\"credit\">GoFundMe<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Hernandez, however, insisted to the outlet that he plans to use the GoFundMe money to give Chase a \u201cproper memorial.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The fundraiser has, so far, raised $3,924 of its $5,000 goal.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan alleged to The Post on Wednesday that Chase <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/17\/entertainment\/lilo-stitch-actress-daveigh-chase-reportedly-had-millions-in-residuals-at-time-of-death\/\">leaves behind millions of dollars of residuals<\/a>, which he claims she was \u201ctoo far gone\u201d on heroin and fentanyl to claim despite his attempts to get in touch.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/17\/celebrity-news\/daveigh-chase-star-of-the-ring-and-lilo-stitch-dead-at-35\/\">\u201cLilo &amp; Stitch\u201d star died<\/a> on Tuesday at age 35 after a case of meningitis and an infection in Chase\u2019s blood led to her body shutting down over sepsis issues.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><figcaption>The \u201cDonnie Darko\u201d star (pictured above in April 2013) died Tuesday at age 35. <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Ryan claimed Chase had \u201ca SAG trust account with more than enough funds to cover all medical and related expenses.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">MediaPunch \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Prior to her passing, Chase was admitted to a hospital for malnourishment.<\/p>\n<p>She was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/17\/celebrity-news\/ghastly-video-shows-lilo-stitch-actress-daveigh-chase-wasting-away-on-skid-row-months-before-death\/\">spotted living in Downtown Los Angeles\u2019 Skid Row<\/a> months before her death.<\/p>\n<p>Hernandez wrote in his online campaign that Chase \u201cwanted \u2026 a place where [they] could live together, feel safe and be happy.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Her alleged partner\u2019s online campaign, meanwhile, is drawing nearer to its $500,000 goal. <span class=\"credit\">GoFundMe<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Hernandez said he wants to use the funds to give Chase (pictured above in November 2011) a \u201cproper memorial.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Jordan Strauss<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After describing her \u201ccritical\u201d health scare, he wrote, \u201cNow, more than ever, I want to give her that sense of home and peace in her final days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter a difficult childhood and a painful falling out with her family, Daveigh was bullied and struggled to find safety and happiness in downtown LA,\u201d he claimed. \u201cWhen we met, I promised to protect her and give her the love and comfort she deserved.
