We will always be best friends,\u201d the country superstar said onstage, noting that she will \u201cprobably be the only woman I will ever love the way I loved her\u201d and that \u201cnobody cheated on nobody.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lombardo said on TikTok that he has never met Jelly Roll but \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@infamous.viii\/video\/7652219001732386078?_r=1&amp;_t=ZT-97LeKomQG7i\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heard he\u2019s a nice fella<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bunnie XO, 46, was married to Lombardo from 2009-2015. She then married Jelly Roll \u2014\u00a0n\u00e9 Jason DeFord \u2014\u00a0in 2016.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>After filing for divorce, Jelly Roll said this week he and Bunnie XO remain best friends. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Grammy winner was a convicted felon and served time for robbery and drug offenses before becoming a chart-topping artist and advocate for second chances. Bunnie, a former sex worker and recovering drug addict, has openly discussed her own criminal history and even shared old mugshots with fans ahead of a book tour last year.<\/p>\n<p>Lombardo <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/05\/12\/entertainment\/jelly-roll-and-gangster-bitch-bunnie-xos-reputation-as-good-christians-at-risk-from-thugs-they-surround-themselves-with-sources\/\">has his own troubled history<\/a>. One woman who spoke on condition of anonymity told The Post she was in a relationship with him until late 2024 and alleged that he subjected her to repeated violence.<\/p>\n<p>During one incident in December 2023, both the woman and a neighbor who witnessed the disturbance called 911, according to a police report obtained by The Post.<\/p>\n<p>Lombardo was arrested and taken to jail, where he was charged with domestic battery by strangulation.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lombardo said he and Bunnie have \u201cunfinished business.\u201d<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt should be noted that while en route to the jail, Frankie stated that he should\u2019ve beat her ass, beat the st out of her, and beat the dog st out of her,\u201d a police officer wrote in the report.<\/p>\n<p>Now, his repeated attempts to cast himself as one of Bunnie\u2019s closest confidants have raised eyebrows among people who know the two.<\/p>\n<p>A source familiar with the situation accused Lombardo of attempting to leverage his connection to the \u201cDumb Blonde\u201d podcast star following her high-profile split.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Bunnie Xo said this week she and Jelly Roll still plan to have children together, despite their split. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>But, according to Lombardo, \u201cthat\u2019s all bulls\u2013t\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, multiple sources told The Post that Jelly Roll and Bunny\u2019s carefully crafted image was being threatened by \u201cviolent thugs\u201d in their inner circle who had collectively amassed dozens of criminal charges and allegedly \u201cmake bad things happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There is no suggestion that Jelly Roll or Bunnie were involved in any of the alleged incidents involving their friends or associates, including Lombardo.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Jelly Roll served time in prison before making it big. <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lombardo has frequently referenced his friendship with Bunnie online in recent years, referring to her as \u201cthe boss\u201d in several TikTok posts. Bunnie has likewise spoken publicly about their ongoing friendship on her podcast.<\/p>\n<p>In recent days, Lombardo\u2019s posts about Bunnie have ramped up as the DeFords\u2019 marriage unravels.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Bunnie XO said she and Jelly Roll split after a Mother\u2019s Day fight. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On Tuesday, Jelly Roll appeared to acknowledge the breakup by deleting references to Bunnie from his Instagram bio, which now simply reads: \u201cMusic Man.\u201d A day earlier, moving trucks were spotted outside the couple\u2019s Nashville-area home, though it remains unclear whose belongings were being moved.<\/p>\n<p>And on Thursday, Bunnie <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/18\/celebrity-news\/bunnie-xo-addresses-jelly-roll-divorce\/\">discussed the split on her podcast<\/a>, blaming it on long-brewing resentments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn Mother\u2019s Day, we had a little bit of an argument, which I don\u2019t think the details are necessary.
