Other pics revealed that Heming\u2019s bash included a taco truck, a two-tiered cake, and a large crowd of pals \u2014 but the model divulged in the caption that she initially thought she wouldn\u2019t do much to mark her 50th amid husband Bruce\u2019s ongoing battle with FTD (frontotemporal dementia.) <\/p>\n

But the pal persisted, and Heming ultimately wrote that they \u201cstarted imagining what a celebration might look like.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cFriends and family gathered at home,\u201d she wrote. \u201cTacos. Margaritas. Chocolate cake. And not the dense, fancy kind. The fluffy Duncan Hines kind, cause that\u2019s my fav.\u201d <\/p>\n
Heming wrote that the more she thought about it, the more she \u201crealized that milestones really matter. And if there\u2019s one worth celebrating, it\u2019s 50.\u201d <\/p>\n

It was a beautiful way to welcome 50,\u201d she concluded the post, noting that \u201cthe Knicks won that night too.\u201d <\/p>\n
On Thursday, Heming took to Instagram with a heartwarming nod to her husband \u2014 including a video of him entertaining their daughters with a goofy rendition of \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d during a previous birthday. <\/p>\n
In a snapshot, they embraced while wearing party hats. \u201cMy 40s were heavy, yet I\u2019m proud of how far I\u2019ve come as a wife, mom, care partner, and advocate,\u201d she wrote, adding that she\u2019s \u201calso proud of the work we\u2019re doing through the Emma & Bruce Willis Fund and what lies ahead.\u201d <\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cTogether, we\u2019re raising awareness of FTD, supporting caregivers, and advancing education and research.\u201d <\/p>\nWillis, seen here with Moore in a previous social media post, retired from acting in 2022 prior to his 2023 FTD diagnosis.
