The pop star, 44, posted a video of herself dancing in a yellow slip dress and black boots while holding a tiny guitar. Rehab was a great opportunity for her to ground herself,\u201d the insider told us.<\/p>\n<p>Another source told us that she would be \u201ccontinuing counseling remotely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Mail reported that Spears\u2019 sons <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/14\/celebrity-news\/britney-spears-sons-held-intervention-before-her-rehab-stay\/\">held an intervention<\/a> prior to Spears voluntarily checking herself into rehab.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Spears is already a mom to her sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19. She\u2019s pictured here with Jayden in June 2025. <span class=\"credit\">britneyspears\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re the only ones she listens to, and they were so loving, so kind, but also so firm,\u201d a source shared.<\/p>\n<p>According to the source, Sean and Jayden threatened their relationship with their mom to ensure she went to rehab.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was like, \u2018Mom, you have to go if you want us coming around,\u2019\u201d the insider said, \u201cand that was all the incentive she needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The source continued, \u201cShe wants a relationship with them, which would have been jeopardized if she didn\u2019t go.
