I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2021\/07\/01\/amber-heard-welcomes-baby-girl-oonagh-via-surrogate\/\">started her family<\/a> in April 2021 with the help of a gestational carrier, four years after making the decision to move forward on her \u201cown terms.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The \u201cAquaman\u201d star the time, the \u201cAquaman\u201d star told her Instagram followers, \u201cI now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope we arrive at a point in which it\u2019s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib,\u201d she continued, calling Oonagh \u201cthe beginning of the rest of [her] life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Heard rarely shows her children on social media, she<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQfLi8XiASf\/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> included all three in a Halloween post<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n<p>Heard, notably, kept all three of the kids\u2019 faces turned away from the camera in the trick-or-treating photos.<\/p>\n<figure
