Taylor Swift showed up to Travis Kelce\u2019s Tight Ends & Friends concert at Nashville\u2019s The Pinnacle Tuesday night to deliver a surprise rendition of her 2008 hit \u201cLove Story.\u201d<\/p>\n
Toward the end of Lainey Wilson\u2019s set, the country star told the crowd, \u201cI don\u2019t think ya\u2019ll are ready for what\u2019s about to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n Wilson \u2014 who recalled first seeing this \u201creally, really special\u201d artist perform at the age of 16 \u2014 marveled that it\u2019s been \u201cso cool\u201d to see what she\u2019s accomplished since then.<\/p>\n \u201cShe is just as kind as she is talented. Y\u2019all, welcome to the stage my friend Taylor Swift,\u201d Wilson said, prompting the audience to erupt in screams.<\/p>\n In an asymmetrical black dress with a ruffled silver hem, Swift took the stage and asked the band, \u201cDo you wanna do \u2018Love Story\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n She quipped that the song was a \u201cspecial request by a very special tight end\u201d before naming San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, who co-founded Tight End University alongside Kelce and retired player Greg Olsen in 2021.<\/p>\n Swift sang the first verse, Wilson took the second and they sang the chorus together.<\/p>\n When it came to the track\u2019s iconic bridge, the 14-time Grammy winner made sure to flash her engagement ring from Kelce when she got to the lyric, \u201cHe knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring.\u201d<\/p>\n The crowd went berserk, and some audience members even cried.<\/p>\n The show \u2014 which was presented by Reese\u2019s \u2014 also featured performances by Dan + Shay, Chase Rice, Hardy and others.<\/p>\n Tight Ends & Friends takes place during the annual offseason TEU summit.<\/p>\n
