unfolded during Bailey Zimmerman\u2019s turbulent day at a New Mexico resort.<\/a><\/p>\nAn affidavit, obtained by Fox News Digital, offered new details about the events that led to\u00a0criminal charges\u00a0against Zimmerman, tracing the country singer\u2019s movements from the golf course to the amphitheater and back to the resort hotel.<\/p>\n
Investigators alleged the day culminated in a canceled show, police involvement and thousands of dollars in property damage.<\/p>\n
After arriving at the Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque on May 27, Zimmerman played a round of golf.<\/p>\n
Around 3 p.m., Zimmerman and his entourage took a white SUV back to the hotel.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, police claimed Zimmerman, his security officer and four men exited the vehicle.<\/p>\nCountry star Bailey Zimmerman is facing felony charges after allegedly trashing his hotel room. The group headed to Zimmerman\u2019s assigned hotel room.<\/p>\n
At 4:20 p.m., Zimmerman and his entourage emerged to head to the amphitheater for soundcheck.<\/p>\n
\u201cSandia security advised that Mr. Zimmerman appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and was very angry with his band and manager,\u201d the affidavit claimed. At one point, Zimmerman exited the SUV on the way to soundcheck and was followed by his personal security.<\/p>\nZimmerman is facing a felony criminal damage charge and a misdemeanor charge after an alleged incident at Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 27. Getty Images for BMI<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nAccording to surveillance footage reviewed by police, the country singer\u2019s soundcheck spiraled into mayhem as he allegedly threw microphones and cymbals, toppled equipment, stumbled across the stage and repeatedly defied attempts by his band to calm him down.<\/p>\n
The affidavit said the country star eventually shoved a guitarist after kicking over drum equipment and storming on and off the stage several times.<\/p>\n
According to police, Zimmerman left soundcheck after 44 minutes.<\/p>\nZimmerman spent the day golfing before allegedly burning bandmates with a cigarette, acting erratically backstage, and disrupting a soundcheck by throwing microphones and musical equipment. He drank from another bottle and then spit toward a Sandia security officer standing nearby.<\/p>\n
\u201cMr. Zimmerman complained about having a white SUV instead of a black SUV and initially refused to get in,\u201d the police said. \u201cHe eventually entered the white SUV.\u201d<\/p>\n
Zimmerman\u2019s return to the hotel was allegedly no less dramatic.\u00a0The \u201cFall In Love\u201d singer\u00a0arrived back at the resort around 4:49 p.m. The affidavit claimed he stumbled out of an SUV, headed for the wrong door, lost a shoe and struggled to keep his balance as members of his entourage guided him inside.<\/p>\n
With blood visible on one knee, Zimmerman allegedly staggered through the hotel, nearly crashing to the floor multiple times before making it back to his suite.<\/p>\nSandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque. \u201cY\u2019all know there\u2019s nothing I love more than getting out on the road and playing these shows for you,\u201d he wrote\u00a0on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cSo it\u2019s so hard for me to have to say this, but I have to reschedule tonight\u2019s (5\/27) and Saturday\u2019s (5\/30) shows.<\/p>\n\u201cI have not been feeling well and have tried to power through, but I\u2019m not able to give you all the show you deserve. I hate letting y\u2019all down and was really looking forward to these shows, but I gotta take care of myself so I can get back out there stronger,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Zimmerman became disorderly, and Sandia Police were contacted,\u201d the document added. \u201cMr. Zimmerman eventually became cooperative and boarded the bus provided by Sandia Resort and Casino. He was escorted off the property by Sandia Police.\u201d<\/p>\n
On May 28,\u00a0Sandia Police\u00a0were called to the hotel to assess damage found in the hotel room occupied by Zimmerman.<\/p>\n
When officers inspected the room, they allegedly found:<\/p>\n
\nDamage to a television<\/li>\n A broken phone<\/li>\n Damage to a coffee table<\/li>\n Damage to two chairs<\/li>\n Two chairs missing from the room<\/li>\n A hole in a wall<\/li>\n Damage to other walls<\/li>\n Several stains on the carpet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe damage totaled $16,000, according to the affidavit. Zimmerman had also charged $400 worth of alcohol to the room, but allegedly did not pay the bill.<\/p>\n
Zimmerman was later hit with a felony charge of criminal damage to property and a misdemeanor charge of falsely obtaining services after allegedly leaving the hotel room trashed.<\/p>\nThe filing, obtained by Fox News Digital, further alleges Bailey Zimmerman shoved a guitarist, canceled his scheduled concert and was ultimately ordered to leave the resort. Instagram\/bailey.zimmerman<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nA warrant for his arrest was signed by a judge on June 18 and included a \u201cno bond hold,\u201d with the judge deciding that Zimmerman would be held pending a judicial appearance rather than being immediately released on a preset bond amount.<\/p>\n
Days after the felony warrant for criminal damage to property was filed,\u00a0the country singer\u00a0issued an apology through his attorney.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo the Pueblo of Sandia and my fans: I want to address the events surrounding my canceled show in New Mexico in May and the reports that have followed,\u201d he said in a statement given to Fox News Digital. \u201cFirst things first, I want to apologize to the Pueblo of Sandia and to everyone at Sandia Resort & Casino. I never meant for any of this to come across as disrespectful. I am deeply sorry for my actions that transpired. I respect your community and the hospitality and appreciate the opportunity that was given to me to perform on Native Land. I take full accountability for everything that happened, and I am sorry to anyone who feels hurt or disrespected.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo my fans who bought tickets and showed up expecting a performance, I am so sorry, you deserved better from me. I understand that being a musician comes with big responsibilities, both on and offstage, and I know that I fell short that day.
