{"id":6777,"date":"2026-06-25T13:00:55","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T13:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/jeremy-allen-white-says-goodbye-to-the-bear-after-5-seasons\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T13:00:55","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T13:00:55","slug":"jeremy-allen-white-says-goodbye-to-the-bear-after-5-seasons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/jeremy-allen-white-says-goodbye-to-the-bear-after-5-seasons\/","title":{"rendered":"Jeremy Allen White says goodbye to &#8216;The Bear&#8217; after 5 seasons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F06%2F131946442.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Jeremy Allen White knows that playing Chef Carmie in \u201cThe Bear\u201d has been a life-changing experience.<\/p>\n<p>White noted that although he\u2019s been working since he was a teen, appearing in \u201cLaw &amp; Order\u201d and playing Lip Gallagher in \u201cShameless\u201d from 2011 to 2021, it\u2019s \u201cThe Bear\u201d that really set his career on fire.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Jeremy Allen White spoke to Page Six at the premiere of the fifth season of \u201cThe Bear\u201d on June 15. <span class=\"credit\">Page Six<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>White plays Chef Carmine Berzatto on the series. <span class=\"credit\">FX<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThings changed,\u201d he shared, adding that the role allowed him to be selective.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got that gift, you know, very few actors are lucky enough to get, which is like, you get some choice, and you get some say-so and [get to decide] what you want to do and what you want your career to look like.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I think \u2018The Bear\u2019 gave me that,\u201d he explained. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The actor acknowledged that the role changed his career. <span class=\"credit\">FX<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The Emmy winner said it gave him some control over his career. <span class=\"credit\">FX Networks<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Emmy winner acknowledged that he\u2019s fortunate to have been working pretty much non-stop since he nabbed his role in \u201cShameless\u201d at age 18. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was really lucky to again have consistency and be able to grow with a character.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another thing the FX series has given White, 35, is some extra skills in the kitchen.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>White said playing a chef has made him a better cook. <span class=\"credit\">\u00a9FX Networks\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>He was joined by his castmates at the premiere party. <span class=\"credit\">FX via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not saying I\u2019m great,\u201d he said modestly. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I\u2019m definitely better. I do like a Sunday roast, a short rib in a Dutch oven that is really nice.
