Freddit then texted his father and told him that his mom was drinking and the child \u201cused certain words to describe the manner by which Ms. Ricci consumed the alcohol and then described Ms. Ricci\u2019s behavior thereafter.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Owen Kolasinski\/BFA.com \/ Shutterstock<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">riccigrams\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Two days later, Freddie\u2019s counsel spoke to him about the text; however, the pre-teen claimed he \u201coverreacted\u201d in sending those text messages to Heerdegen. <\/p>\n<p>The child also said that his \u201cdescription of Ms. Ricci\u2019s alcohol consumption and behavior thereafter was not as he had described it to his father,\u201d the docs stated.<\/p>\n<p>Freddie told his counsel that he \u201chad no fear in continuing to be in Ms. Ricci\u2019s primary physical custody.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/Christina Ricci<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">riccigrams\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ricci, 46, requested that the text messages her son sent to his father be sealed. The \u201cAddams Family\u201d star claimed Freddie had been bullied at school and could experience that again if the documents were unsealed.<\/p>\n<p>Ricci believes additional bullying \u201cmay jeopardize\u201d her son\u2019s mental health.<\/p>\n<p>The court agreed and sealed the messages and also denied Heerdegen\u2019s emergency custody order.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for EJAF<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Variety via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The former couple married in 2013, welcoming Freddie the following year.<\/p>\n<p>Ricci\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/07\/02\/christina-ricci-files-for-divorce-from-husband-james-heerdegen\/\">filed for divorce<\/a>\u00a0in 2020 and it <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/12\/13\/christina-ricci-finalizes-divorce-from-james-heerdegen\/\">was finalized<\/a>\u00a0in December of the following year.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSleepy Hollow\u201d actress\u00a0is also the <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2021\/12\/08\/christina-ricci-gives-birth-to-girl-with-husband-mark-hampton\/\">mother of daughter Cleopatra<\/a>, 4, whom she shares with her current husband, Mark Hampton.
