navigate her life and career before her high-profile marriage to George Clooney. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was easier when I could decide what kind of exposure I got,\u201d the human rights attorney said during an appearance earlier this month at a Cartier Dialogues event\u00a0in Bangkok. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was something new to navigate,\u201d she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.com\/tvshowbiz\/article-15933371\/Amal-Clooney-fame-self-conscious-marriage-George.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">added, per the Daily Mail<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in the interview, the mom of two, 48, reflected on how she was previously able to keep her personal life and career separate. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image outlet. \u201cI used to have my work life and my personal life, and they could look quite different, and I was able to not have them mix\u2026 and then I got married and that changed quite a lot.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Amal explained, \u201cAt first I was kind of conscious of that one-dimensional view where I felt like, well, I can\u2019t be seen wearing this dress or doing this because I\u2019m in front of a judge on Monday and I don\u2019t want the judge to\u2026 but you know it just doesn\u2019t matter as much as living your life.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>She added, \u201cUltimately if you\u2019re relationship.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Amal <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2014\/09\/27\/george-clooney-and-amal-alamuddin-tie-the-knot\/\">married the \u201cOcean\u2019s 11\u201d star<\/a> in a lavish, star-studded ceremony in Italy back in 2014. <\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ve since welcomed<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2017\/07\/28\/george-and-amal-clooneys-twins-revealed\/\"> twins Ella and Alexander<\/a>, now 9 years old. <\/p>\n<p>George has repeatedly boasted about his wife, and the fact that they simply <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/01\/08\/celebrity-news\/george-clooney-doubles-down-on-wild-claim-about-his-and-amals-11-year-marriage\/\">haven\u2019t argued<\/a> over the 12 years they\u2019ve Amal, she\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/07\/03\/celebrity-news\/amal-clooney-praises-husband-george-and-their-family-life\/\">gushed over her husband\u2019s unwavering support<\/a> amid her high-powered career. \u201cI have a partner in life who is so supportive of what I do,\u201d she told Glamour\u00a0magazine in a profile last year. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo I don\u2019t feel like I
