So over four years, we wound up making about 900 grand,\u201d the actor shared. <span class=\"credit\">YouTube\/Financial Tea with Mrs. Dow Jones<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>In 2006, Peck and Bell, 39, starred in the movie \u201cDrake &amp; Josh Go Hollywood,\u201d before the hit Nickelodeon series wrapped in 2007. <\/p>\n<p>Peck emphasized that the cast was \u201cworking so much,\u201d but didn\u2019t see all of the money they earned. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe probably, between agent, manager and taxes, we cleared half of that,\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n<p>Looking back, Peck knows he did rake in a good amount.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were making about $125,000 a year. But of course, if you made the salary of a dentist or something like that, you couldn\u2019t just stop working after four years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGrandfathered\u201d alum also felt the pressure after becoming his family\u2019s breadwinner, noting that when it\u2019s \u201cingrained in you\u201d to never go back to being broke, you keep going for \u201cas long as you can.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Peck (pictured here on the sitcom with Bell) knows that making $125,000 a year is no small feat, but \u201cpeople always assume that it\u2019s so much more and why would you ever have to work again?\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Nickelodeon<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The star (pictured here with Bell on the show) also felt the pressure as he was his family\u2019s breadwinner at the time. <span class=\"credit\">Nickelodeon<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAnd I saw that in myself forever,\u201d Peck reflected, \u201cjust a deep financial insecurity that drove everything I did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Peck revealed that while he was on the show he and his mom \u201chad a used BMW five series\u201d while living in a two-bedroom apartment with amenities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe lived a very middle-class life,\u201d he divulged on the \u201cTrading Secrets\u201d\u00a0podcast at the time.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>In 2022, Peck (pictured here with Bell in 2004) revealed that there\u2019s \u201cno residuals on kids\u2019 television.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Bell (pictured here with Peck in 2014) added in 2025 that it\u2019s \u201cthe bummer for most of us on Nickelodeon, we don\u2019t get residuals for our shows.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He added that there\u2019s \u201cno residuals on kids\u2019 television.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bell <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/07\/20\/entertainment\/drake-bell-claims-no-one-on-nickelodeon-gets-paid-residuals\/\">echoed his co-star\u2019s sentiments in 2025<\/a>, slamming the idea the every child star is raking in the dough.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the perception of the world, it\u2019s always been this way,\u201d he said while on\u00a0\u201cThe Unplanned Podcast\u201d\u00a0at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s like, you know, \u2018Oh, you made a Folgers Coffee commercial. You must live in a mansion in Hollywood. Like, I saw you on TV.
