You know, we all had boyfriends, but whatever happens when the lights go off, that doesn\u2019t really mean anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Delevingne and Heard found themselves back in headlines after Depp, 63, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2019\/03\/02\/johnny-depp-goes-after-amber-heard-with-50m-defamation-suit\/\">sued Heard for defamation<\/a> over her 2018 essay <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/06\/01\/the-defamatory-essay-that-cost-amber-heard-10m-after-depp-verdict\/\">dubbing an unnamed ex abusive<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In June 2020, Heard\u2019s friend Raquel \u201cRocky\u201d Pennington\u2019s ex-husband, Josh Drew, claimed Elon Musk slept with Delevingne and Heard at Depp\u2019s Los Angeles home while the latter was still married to the \u201cPirates of the Caribbean\u201d star.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>She and Heard (pictured above with pals in September 2018) have been friends since at least 2014. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for RBC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Their bond sparked chatter two years later as the pair embarked on frequent outings. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cCara and I are friends,\u201d he insisted. \u201cShe would confirm this.
