They got into a discussion about their current contracts and pay, and Logan was unimpressed,\u201d the businessman penned.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Dave Portnoy (seen above at a WNBA game in 2025) alleged that Alex Cooper and Sofia Franklyn planned to use \u201cfake\u201d sexual harassment claims to get out of their Barstool contracts. <span class=\"credit\">NBAE via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>In his new memoir, \u201cCancel Me If You Can\u201d (as seen above), the Barstool Sports founder said the women were fine with their pay until they met with YouTube star Logan Paul.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Portnoy, 49, claimed that both Cooper and Franklyn \u2014 who co-hosted the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast, which was owned and distributed by Barstool Sports from 2018 to 2021 \u2014 were beginning to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/04\/27\/battle-brewing-between-barstool-sports-and-raunchy-hit-podcast-call-her-daddy\/\">\u201cshow their growing dissatisfaction with being tied\u201d to his company<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst, they stopped coming into the office. Near the end of 2019 was really when the major trouble started brewing,\u201d Portnoy alleged in his memoir. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cCall Her Daddy had hired a lawyer and wanted to have a meeting with us. The lawyer brought a list of demands so preposterous that I couldn\u2019t even make it through the meeting,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The media personality claimed the women \u201cwanted a million dollars a year, the right to sell their own ads, ownership over the intellectual property of Call Her Daddy, and 90 percent of their merch sales.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>He claimed Cooper and Franklyn (both seen above in 2018) were beginning to \u201cshow their growing dissatisfaction with being tied\u201d to his company.  <span class=\"credit\">Annie Wermiel\/NY Post<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Portnoy (seen above holding a slice of pizza) said the women \u201cwanted a million dollars a year, the right to sell their own ads, ownership over the intellectual property of Call Her Daddy, and 90 percent of their merch sales.\u201d  <span class=\"credit\">Icon Sportswire via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Additionally, Portnoy claimed Cooper, 31, and Franklyn, 33, no longer\u00a0wanted to be qualified as employees of Barstool Sports.<\/p>\n<p>To try to force their contract demands, Portnoy alleged that the women \u201csimply stopped putting out their podcast.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Portnoy said he met with the podcast hosts and proposed \u201cthe most generous offer in Barstool history\u201d that would have made both Cooper and Franklyn instant millionaires.<\/p>\n<p>Later, Portnoy claimed he got a phone call from Cooper asking if she could meet with the Barstool boss again \u2014 without Franklyn.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Portnoy said he gave the podcast hosts (both seen above) \u201cthe most generous offer in Barstool history.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Call Her Daddy\/Facebook<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The businessman (seen above in June) claimed Cooper wanted to take the deal but Franklyn didn\u2019t. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201c\u2018I love the deal you proposed, and I want to take it. But Sofia is never going to take it,&#8217;\u201d Portnoy claimed Cooper told him in his memoir.<\/p>\n<p>\u201d\u2019Okay,\u2019 I said. \u2018You guys realize I\u2019ll sue you if you take the podcast to another network before your contract is out, right?\u2019 Alex claimed to me that they had a plan to say they were both sexually harassed at Barstool,\u201d he alleged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat was it.
