{"id":7483,"date":"2026-07-01T15:19:11","date_gmt":"2026-07-01T15:19:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/as-the-world-turns-alum-colleen-zenk-arrested-for-dui-in-florida\/"},"modified":"2026-07-01T15:19:11","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T15:19:11","slug":"as-the-world-turns-alum-colleen-zenk-arrested-for-dui-in-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/as-the-world-turns-alum-colleen-zenk-arrested-for-dui-in-florida\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;As the World Turns&#8217; alum Colleen Zenk arrested for DUI in Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F07%2FUntitled-1-copy-5.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The actress, 73, was taken into custody by Collier County Sheriff\u2019s Office on May 15 and charged with DUI causing damage to property or another person, and DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher, per court records.<\/p>\n<p>She posted bond for both charges the next day. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Collen Zenk (seen here in her mugshot) was arrested on two DUI charges in Naples, Florida, on May 15. <span class=\"credit\">Collier County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The actress (pictured above at the 2004 Daytime Emmys) was charged with DUI causing damage to property or another person, and DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher, court records show. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Zenk\u2019s mugshot was included in the records.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/actress-colleen-zenk-arrested-dui-charges-florida-12010107\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an arrest report obtained by People<\/a>, Zenk crashed into another vehicle while backing out of a handicap parking spot near a Tommy Bahama store and attempted to flee the scene, but was quickly stopped by police.<\/p>\n<p>A witness claimed the \u201cAs the World Turns\u201d star was stumbling as she exited her vehicle. <\/p>\n<p>A responding sergeant who aided in the arrest alleged that Zenk\u2019s breath smelt like alcohol.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Zenk (seen above in \u201cAs the World Turns\u201d) posted bond for both charges. <span class=\"credit\">\u00a9CBS\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Zenk (seen above in \u201cAs the World Turns\u201d) reportedly crashed her car into another vehicle in a parking lot. <span class=\"credit\">\u00a9CBS\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Zenk, per the arrest report, told officers she consumed \u201ctwo wine cups\u201d at a place called Bar Tulia before the crash.<\/p>\n<p>She failed her field sobriety exercises after \u201cshowing multiple signs of impairment, including balance issues, swaying and difficulty following instructions,\u201d and was placed under arrest.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cYoung and the Restless\u201d alum also provided two breath samples that measured 0.206 BAC and 0.192 BAC  \u2014 both over the legal limit of 0.08.<\/p>\n<p>Zenk had a court date on June 10 that she skipped after filing a Waiver of Appearance at Non-Mandatory Court Appearances. Ms. Zenk has not been convicted of anything.
