She said she drove more than six hours from Nova Scotia to attend the show.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Opener 2 Chainz performed and a DJ filled time, but Lil Wayne never appeared despite being scheduled to headline. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cNever mind the money. It\u2019s like, moments in life and that was going to be a moment,\u201d she continued. \u201c[My friend] left her six-month baby for the first time. Like, it\u2019s people\u2019s time. Just don\u2019t waste people\u2019s time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe paid for Lil Wayne. The least you can do is come out for a minute, apologize, you know?\u201d Sack added. \u201cLike, just take the moment and be like, \u2018Hey guys, sorry, not feeling it, feeling a little sick.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lil Wayne \u2014 who was recently <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/26\/celebrity-news\/lil-wayne-engaged-to-woman-in-her-20s-report\/\">reported to be engaged to a woman in her 20s<\/a> \u2014 also faced backlash online after <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/LilTunechi\/status\/2072294585615753297\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">posting unrelated content to X on Wednesday morning<\/a>, with fans filling the comments to criticize him for skipping the concert.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Fans who traveled hours for the concert voiced frustration after the rapper failed to take the stage. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re a POS for wasting(sic) Bangors money!!!!\u201d one person wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was front row at the Maine show! My fianc\u00e9 and I were so excited to see you! It was a gift for her and you ruined the night by not showing up!\u201d another responded.<\/p>\n<p>Later Wednesday night, Lil Wayne <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stories\/liltunechi\/3931953116450160413\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">apologized to fans <\/a>on Instagram\u00a0and announced that\u00a0the concert had been rescheduled for July 28.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy Maine fans, I\u2019m so sorry,\u201d he wrote. \u201cPlease hold on to your tickets, they will be honored for the rescheduled date. More information will be emailed directly to ticket holders.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lil Wayne later apologized on Instagram and announced the Bangor show would be rescheduled for July 28.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI ain\u2019t s\u2014 without you.
