In the message Carman wrote: \u201cI\u2019m so tired. I\u2019m going to go for a swim today,\u201d reports <a target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/7news.com.au\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\"><u>7news<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The woman who received the messages is believed to have panicked after learning just hours later that Carman had been arrested over the teenager\u2019s alleged murder. <!-- -->Carman reportedly met Tunchanok, who was known as \u201cCake\u201d, near Jomtien Beach after being seen drinking at a nearby red-light district bar before returning with her to his apartment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Video footage showed the 45-year-old holding hands with Tunchanok as they entered the building together, marking the last time the teenager was seen alive. The 17-year-old later messaged a friend using the Line app to let them know where she was.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Thai police colonel Anek Srathongyoo said she wrote: \u201d\u2018I\u2019ve arrived at [his] apartment. If convicted, he could face life imprisonment or the death penalty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">CCTV later captured Carman leaving his hotel about 9.30pm that night, wheeling a large suitcase from the apartment before allegedly strapping it to the back of a red motorcycle.
