Mango for NY Post<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lively, who is married to actor Ryan Reynolds, showed up solo, while Justin arrived with his\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-wife-and-kids\/\">wife, Emily Baldoni<\/a>, walking hand in hand into the building.<\/p>\n<p>Their closed-door hearing was overseen by US Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave and marked the first time the actors have faced off in court since their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/entertainment\/blake-lively-justin-baldoni-drama-it-ends-with-us-movie\/\">legal battle began<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Later that evening, Justin left the court holding hands with his wife. The actor smiled at photographers but kept silent when asked about the deal. Lively, meanwhile, left a few minutes later.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/02\/blake-lively-justin-baldoni-settlement-talks-latest-1236716460\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Deadline reported<\/a> that Justin\u2019s attorney, Bryan Freedman, said attempts to reach a pretrial deal on Feb. 11 <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/02\/11\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldonis-lawyer-blake-lively-settlement-talk-unsuccessful\/\">were \u201cunsuccessful.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Later that evening, Baldoni was seen leaving the courthouse. <span class=\"credit\">Javier Mateo \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>He smiled while getting into a black SUV. <span class=\"credit\">John Angelillo\/UPI\/Shutterstock<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While Freedman acknowledged at the time that \u201cthere\u2019s always a chance\u201d of still settling, he added that he didn\u2019t \u201cknow that we will\u201d resume talks.<\/p>\n<p>On Feb. 12, Justin and his wife <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/02\/12\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-arrives-at-court-after-unsuccessful-settlement-talk-with-blake-lively\/\">arrived for a second day in court<\/a> after his \u201cunsuccessful\u201d court-ordered settlement conference\u00a0with Lively, who was not present.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2024, Lively\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/31\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-sues-justin-baldoni-over-it-ends-with-us-feud\/\">filed a lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0against the director, accusing him of sexually harassing her on the set of their film, \u201cIt Ends With Us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cJane the Virgin\u201d alum denied Lively\u2019s claims and,\u00a0in January 2025,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/16\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-drags-taylor-swift-into-it-ends-with-us-legal-battle-as-he-sues-blake-lively-ryan-reynolds-for-400m\/\">filed a $400 million countersuit<\/a>\u00a0against the \u201cA Simple Favor\u201d actress, her 49-year-old husband and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, alleging defamation, extortion and more.<\/p>\n<p>However, Justin\u2019s suit was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/06\/09\/celebrity-news\/judge-tosses-justin-baldonis-400m-lawsuit-against-blake-lively-ryan-reynolds\/\">dismissed in June 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lively left shortly after. <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The \u201cShallows\u201d star sued Baldoni for sexual harassment in December 2024. <span class=\"credit\">Javier Mateo \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Baldoni denied Lively\u2019s claims and filed a $400 million countersuit\u00a0against the actress, her husband and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, for defamation, extortion and more. The suit was later dismissed. <span class=\"credit\">Variety via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Then, last month, a federal judge dismissed most of the claims in Lively\u2019s lawsuit against Baldoni.<\/p>\n<p>However, three of her claims were allowed to proceed: breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting in retaliation.<\/p>\n<p>Private text messages and emails were released as part of Lively\u2019s unsealed deposition last month as well.<\/p>\n<p>In one email, the mom of four begged ex Ben Affleck and his then-wife, Jennifer Lopez, to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/01\/21\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-begs-a-list-couple-to-watch-her-it-ends-with-us-cut-in-showdown-with-justin-baldoni\/\">watch her cut of \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d<\/a> amid her showdown with Justin.<\/p>\n<p>Lively\u2019s texts with her former pal Taylor Swift were also exposed.
