News, \u201cThe iconic rooftop scene, my husband actually wrote it. Nobody knows that, but you now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe works on everything I do. Even when Hoover and Lively introduced the film before the screening, Baldoni was absent.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lively did interviews solo.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Lively did press tours with Sklenar, Isabela Ferrer, who plays a younger version of her character in the movie, and more co-stars.<\/p>\n<p>Fans have also pointed their interviews suggested they were promoting two different movies as Baldoni spoke out about the film\u2019s domestic violence theme, while Lively talked about the wardrobe and how abuse doesn\u2019t \u201cdefine\u201d her character.<\/p>\n<p>After days worth of backlash for \u201cbeing tone deaf\u201d and not <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/08\/14\/entertainment\/blake-lively-addresses-domestic-violence-in-it-ends-with-us\/\">speaking about the domestic violence her character experiences in the movie,<\/a> Lively tried to fix things by sharing resources for abuse survivors in an August 2024 Instagram Story.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter interview<\/a> where she explained her character is more than just a \u201csurvivor\u201d and a \u201cvictim.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although Lively did not address her rumored beef with Baldoni at the time, Slate went viral for completely sidestepping a question about working with Baldoni, who was juggling being the director and an actor in the film.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat an intense job,\u201d the comedian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@deadline\/video\/7400520421553999147\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quipped to Deadline<\/a>. \u201cTo have to do so many Baldoni\u2019s co-stars do not follow him back on Instagram \u2014 and neither does the series\u2019s author, Hoover.<\/p>\n<p>Hoover and Baldoni first connected in 2019 when the latter secured the movie rights to her book.<\/p>\n<p>Reynolds reportedly <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/21\/celebrity-news\/ryan-reynolds-allegedly-blocked-justin-baldoni-before-blake-lively-lawsuit\/\">blocked Baldoni<\/a> on the social media platform months href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/08\/12\/entertainment\/blake-lively-and-justin-baldoni-seen-arguing-on-set-of-it-ends-with-us\/\"> seemingly arguing on set<\/a> in 2023, news broke on Aug. 13, 2024, that he <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/08\/13\/entertainment\/justin-baldoni-hires-pr-crisis-manager-amid-it-ends-with-us-feud-rumors\/\">hired veteran PR crisis manager<\/a> Melissa Nathan.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2024\/08\/14\/blake-lively-justin-baldoni-fat-shamed-it-ends-with-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TMZ claimed<\/a> the following day that Lively, who had recently <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/02\/12\/blake-lively-gives-birth-to-fourth-baby-with-ryan-reynolds\/\">given birth to baby No. 4<\/a>, believed her co-star fat-shamed her on set by asking his trainer how much she weighed and how to avoid injuring his back when picking her up.<\/p>\n<p>The outlet also reported that she felt he lingered too long during one of their kissing scenes.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lively filed a complaint against Baldoni in December 2024. <span scenes\u00a0\u201coutside the scope\u201d of the pre-approved script, stop showing her \u201cnude videos and images of women\u201d and more.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lively also claimed he tried to \u201cdestroy\u201d her career with an alleged smear campaign. <span class=\"credit\">GC intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also hit back at claims that he had hired a crisis PR manager to engage in \u201csocial manipulation\u201d against Lively.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Sklenar and more of Lively\u2019s co-stars subsequently came to href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/23\/celebrity-news\/blake-livelys-it-ends-with-us-co-star-brandon-sklenar-reacts-to-her-complaint-against-justin-baldoni\/\">showed his support for Lively<\/a> via Instagram Stories on Dec. 23, 2024, writing that his followers needed to \u201cfor the love of god read\u201d her complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Slate <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/24\/celebrity-news\/it-ends-with-us-star-jenny-slate-defends-blake-lively-against-justin-baldoni\/\">followed suit <\/a>with a lengthy statement to Today the next day, which concluded with, \u201cI commend my friend, I admire her bravery and I stand by her side.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hoover, for her part, made headlines for <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/22\/celebrity-news\/it-ends-with-us-author-colleen-hoover-supports-honest-and-kind-blake-lively-amid-justin-baldoni-complaint\/\">calling Lively \u201chonest and kind\u201d<\/a> on social media.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Baldoni\u2019s ex-publicist Stephanie Jones also sued him in \u2014 as well as his crisis PR manager, Melissa Nathan, and her former employee Jennifer Abel, among others \u2014 over an alleged breach of contract.<\/p>\n<p>Jones claimed in her lawsuit that Abel and Nathan \u201ccoordinated with Baldoni and Wayfarer to implement an aggressive media smear campaign\u201d against Lively that she allegedly \u201chad no knowledge or involvement in\u201d before \u201cpublicly pin[ning the] blame\u201d on her.<\/p>\n<p>She maintained the allegations after a source blasted them as \u201cretaliatory.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/12\/21\/business\/media\/blake-lively-justin-baldoni-it-ends-with-us.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Times\u2019 story about Lively\u2019s sexual harassment complaint<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The filing claimed that \u201cthe Times story relied almost entirely on Lively\u2019s unverified and self-serving narrative, lifting it nearly verbatim while disregarding an abundance of evidence that contradicted her claims and exposed her true motives.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Baldoni sued Lively for extortion and defamation, claiming the movie star even used her famous friend Taylor Swift to take control over \u201cIt Ends With Us.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Christopher Peterson \/ SplashNews.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On Jan. 16, 2025, Baldoni filed another lawsuit, but this time, against Lively, Reynolds and their publicist, Leslie Sloane. He sued them for $400 million for defamation and extortion.<\/p>\n<p>He also alleged that Lively used her friendship with global superstar Taylor Swift to manipulate him.<\/p>\n<p>Baldoni\u2019s lawyers argued that their client \u201cfelt obliged to text Lively to say that he had liked her pages and hadn\u2019t needed Reynolds and her megacelebrity friend to pressure him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe message could not have been clearer. Baldoni was not just dealing with Lively. He was also facing Lively\u2019s \u2018dragons,\u2019 two of the most influential and wealthy celebrities in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baldoni also reiterated past claims that Reynolds yelled at him during an all-hands meetings and denied that his publicists conspired to ruin Lively\u2019s reputation.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Baldoni released raw footage of a scene he shot with Lively amid his legal battle.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After filing his suit, Baldoni began to release information that he thought might corroborate his case in the court of public opinion. <\/p>\n<p>The actor and his legal team first <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/21\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-releases-raw-it-ends-with-us-footage-to-refute-blake-livelys-sexual-harassment-allegations\/\">leaked raw footage<\/a> from an \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d scene in which he and Lively were cuddled up for a slow-motion dance sequence.<\/p>\n<p>Before directors yelled \u201caction\u201d to kick off the shoot, the co-stars could be overheard talking about their respective spouses, and Lively even making a joke about the size of Baldoni\u2019s nose.<\/p>\n<p>Baldoni\u2019s lawyer, Freedman, claimed the clip showed the pair treated each other with \u201cmutual respect and professionalism,\u201d debunking Lively\u2019s sexual harassment claims.<\/p>\n<p>However, Lively\u2019s lawyers<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/21\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-slams-justin-baldoni-for-releasing-it-ends-with-us-video-says-damning-clip-corroborates-her-claims\/\"> slammed the release of the clip <\/a>and said \u201cthe video itself is damning.\u201d They then <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/22\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-and-ryan-reynolds-request-gag-order-for-justin-baldonis-lawyer\/\">filed a request for a gag order<\/a> against Baldoni\u2019s lawyer, which <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/25\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldonis-lawyer-says-he-wont-be-bullied-into-silence-by-petrified-blake-lively-ryan-reynolds-after-gag-order-request\/\">he called a \u201cbullying\u201d tactic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An intimacy coordinator agreed with Lively\u2019s team that the evidence showed <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/24\/entertainment\/justin-baldonis-actions-in-leaked-video-left-blake-lively-clearly-uncomfortable-intimacy-coordinator\/\">the actress was clearly \u201cuncomfortable\u201d<\/a> during the scene. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Baldoni and his team also released a nearly 7-minute voice note, in which he apologized to Lively. <span class=\"credit\">Erik Pendzich\/Shutterstock<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Baldoni\u2019s team also <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/27\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-appears-to-be-heard-apologizing-to-blake-lively-in-voice-note-over-it-ends-with-us-rooftop-scene\/\">dropped a nearly 7-minute voice note<\/a>, in which the actor is overheard apologizing to Lively following an alleged dispute they had over edits she made to a rooftop scene. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to start with an apology,\u201d the actor is heard saying in the clip.  \u201cI for sure fell short and you worked really hard on that, and the way you framed it, and how that made you feel \u2026 I just wanted to say thank you for sharing that with me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baldoni promised to not make Lively feel like other \u201cf\u2013head\u201d directors in the past had done, saying, \u201cI\u2019m just still kind of blown away that this is the industry we\u2019re in and that you\u2019ve experienced that as a woman.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He concluded, recognizing the time at which he was sending the voice note, \u201cYou probably have kids all over you, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/05\/02\/blake-lively-misses-met-gala-2023-posts-photo-pumping-milk\/\">baby on your boob<\/a> and you\u2019re listening to me ramble.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reps for Lively did not immediately respond to the release of this audio. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Legal experts told Page Six that Baldoni seeking $400 million is likely a \u201cPR play.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s common to shoot for the moon. It\u2019s for scare value and to get press attention,\u201d family law attorney Raiford Dalton Palmer told us.<\/p>\n<p>Neama Rahmani, president of Los Angeles-based West Coast Trial Lawyers, agreed, \u201cObviously, a high number in the lawsuit makes for great headlines, and this case is as much about Baldoni clearing his name and sending a message to Lively than actually getting money out of her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Entertainment lawyer Camron Dowlatshahi\u00a0added that in order for Baldoni to actually walk away with that total sum in damages, he would have to prove he was \u201con his way to making a half billion dollars\u201d before he was allegedly defamed and extorted.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Baldoni launched a website with information about the case in early February. <span class=\"credit\">Mike Windle<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Baldoni made good on their word and <a href=\"https:\/\/thelawsuitinfo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">released an entire website<\/a> dedicated to the case in early February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The site featured his updated complaint and lawsuit, a168-page document detailing a timeline of events,<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/28\/celebrity-news\/read-blake-lively-and-justin-baldonis-texts-while-filming-it-ends-with-us\/\"> never-before-seen text messages, <\/a>emails and more, spanning from 2019 to 2024.<\/p>\n<p>In the communications, Lively and Baldoni <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/02\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-vs-blake-lively-the-wildest-texts-revealed-from-directors-new-website\/\">discussed rewrites of scenes,<\/a> their <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/04\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-reveals-explicit-notes-from-intimacy-coordinator-meeting-that-blake-lively-skipped\/\">meetings with intimacy coordinators <\/a>and a supposed meeting with Swift, who the actress infamously <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/06\/celebrity-news\/taylor-swift-feels-used-by-blake-lively-wishes-actress-didnt-drag-her-into-justin-baldoni-lawsuit\/\">referred to as one of her \u201cdragons.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>He also included texts <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/01\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-releases-new-texts-from-ryan-reynolds-blake-lively-on-new-website\/\">about how \u201cf\u2013king terrified\u201d he was<\/a> about saying the \u201cwrong thing\u201d to Lively about her character\u2019s wardrobe, which received backlash from fans.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The director accused Lively of taking over the movie and doubling her wardrobe budget. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for Sony Pictures<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Speaking of clothes, Baldoni alleged that the film\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/04\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-claims-blake-lively-ballooned-it-ends-with-us-budget-by-430k-with-wardrobe-demands\/\">\u201cwardrobe budget ballooned\u201d by $430,000 <\/a>to meet the actress\u2019 demands. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey had to reshop everything for Blake after creative changes, but it\u2019s a lot of money,\u201d an email from an alleged line producer read. <\/p>\n<p>While they originally set a $185,000 budget for clothes, the unnamed employee claimed they spent $615,000 on Lively and Baldoni\u2019s wardrobe alone. <\/p>\n<p>In Baldoni\u2019s amended complaint, he alleged that the wardrobe issue was just one of the ways Lively tried to take over his project. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIgnoring the director\u2019s vision for her character and disposing of the weeks of effort and creativity spent by the wardrobe team on shopping and carefully crafting her wardrobe, Lively sent hundreds of images to the Film\u2019s costume designer, including into the late hours of the evening, depicting the style of wardrobe she wanted for her character,\u201d the filing alleged.<\/p>\n<p>When he approached her about the issue, she allegedly ignored him and suggested he was being \u201cgaslit\u201d by producers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Lively was also sued by Jed Wallace and his crisis PR firm in February. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lively was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/05\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-sued-for-allegedly-causing-pr-firm-millions-of-dollars-in-reputational-harm-with-justin-baldoni-complaint\/\">sued by a Jed Wallace-led crisis PR firm<\/a> in early February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Wallace alleged that the actress defamed him and his company, Street Relations Inc., when she named him as the architect behind Baldoni\u2019s \u201csmear campaign\u201d in her original <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/21\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-sues-justin-baldoni-for-sexual-harassment-on-it-ends-with-us-set\/\">California Civil Rights complaint.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, she did not name Wallace in the actual lawsuit filed in New York.<\/p>\n<p>Wallace claimed the alleged mistake cost him \u201cmillions of dollars in reputational harm with a projected loss to his company that exceeds another million.\u201d He is suing Lively for $7 million.<\/p>\n<p>The actress\u2019 legal team requested to\u00a0depose Wallace in Texas so he and others could be added to their New York lawsuit against Baldoni.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The actress requested to subpoena all of Baldoni\u2019s communications for proof of his alleged \u201csmear campaign.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In mid-February 2025, Lively <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/13\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-subpoenas-justin-baldonis-text-messages-in-ongoing-it-ends-with-us-legal-battle\/\">sent out several subpoenas<\/a> to Baldoni and Wallace\u2019s cell carriers in a search for \u201creceipts\u201d in the case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMs. Lively has initiated discovery that will expose the people, tactics, and methods that have worked to \u2018destroy\u2019 and \u2018bury\u2019 her reputation and family over the past year,\u201d\u00a0her attorneys said at the time. <\/p>\n<p>In contrast, the \u201cFive Feet Apart\u201d director\u2019s lawyer called Lively\u2019s request \u201cflagrantly overbroad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are asking for every single call, text, data log, and even real-time location information for the past 2.5 years, regardless of the sender, recipient, or subject matter,\u201d he said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis massive fishing expedition demonstrates that they are desperately seeking any factual basis for their provably false claims. They will find none.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A judge later ruled that Lively would not be able to subpoena all of Baldoni\u2019s texts over the last two years, stating that it was \u201coverly intrusive and disproportionate to the needs of the case.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>However, her request for some cell records revolving around those involved in the case was partially granted, with the judge starting that she \u201cis permitted to use the tools of discovery to identify the contact information or telephone numbers for those individuals.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Both Baldoni and Lively refused court mediation. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Lively and Reynolds came under fire for joking about the legal battle during \u201cSNL 50.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another layer of controversy was added to the mix after Lively and Reynolds<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/16\/entertainment\/blake-lively-and-ryan-reynolds-attend-snl50-in-first-red-carpet-since-justin-baldoni-legal-battle\/\"> stepped out for the \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d 50th anniversary special<\/a>, where the \u201cGreen Lantern\u201d star <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/17\/entertainment\/fans-slam-snl-for-joking-about-blake-lively-ryan-reynolds-legal-drama-with-justin-baldoni\/\">made a joke about the legal battle.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>When asked how he was doing during the live broadcast, Reynolds replied, \u201cGreat! Why, what have you heard?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some fans \u2014\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/17\/celebrity-news\/hollywood-insiders-feel-blake-lively-and-ryan-reynolds-should-have-sat-out-snl-50\/\">and Hollywood insiders <\/a>\u2014 questioned the couple for making light of the situation given the serious topics of sexual harassment, defamation and extortion. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Lively claimed that Baldoni made multiple women uncomfortable on set of the film. <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In an amended complaint, Lively alleged that she wasn\u2019t the only person Baldoni <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/21\/celebrity-news\/jenny-slate-allegedly-filed-hr-complaint-while-filming-it-ends-with-us\/\">made \u201cuncomfortable\u201d  on set. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSimple Favor\u201d star alleged that <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/19\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-claims-justin-baldoni-made-others-uncomfortable-amended-complaint\/\">at least two other women were willing to testify <\/a>about the actions of Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios CEO Jamey Heath.<\/p>\n<p>However, their names were left out of the complaint due to concerns over cyberbullying and retaliation.<\/p>\n<p>Lively and one of the other women allegedly reported Baldoni\u2019s behavior but nothing was done about it. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Lively referred to Baldoni as a \u201ccreep\u201d while discussing his \u201cshocking\u201d behavior in old texts. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for Wayfarer Studios<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lively also<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/19\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-texted-pal-about-creep-justin-baldonis-shocking-behavior-on-it-ends-with-us-set-complaint\/\"> added unseen text messages to her complaint,<\/a> in which she discussed the director\u2019s alleged \u201cshocking\u201d behavior on set. <\/p>\n<p>A May 2023 message Lively sent to a friend seemingly references Baldoni and Heath\u2019s inappropriate conduct.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s like HR nuts today. The both of them,\u201d she wrote at the time. \u201cI wasn\u2019t expecting that turn. I mean it\u2019s been present but today I came home and cried.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In another text, Lively called Baldoni and Heath \u201ccreeps\u201d before continuing, \u201cLike keep your hormones to yourselves. This is not mine. I don\u2019t want it. I don\u2019t want you [sic] gaze or words or tongue or videos of your naked wife. Yeah. It\u2019s shocking. Clowns.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also alleged that Baldoni asked \u201cintrusive\u201d questions about her and Reynolds\u2019 sex life, furthering her claims of sexual harassment.<\/p>\n<p>The mother of three claimed that the former podcast host once <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/19\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-allegedly-asked-blake-lively-whether-she-and-ryan-reynolds-climax-simultaneously-complaint\/\">asked if they \u201cclimax simultaneously\u201d <\/a>during intercourse. <\/p>\n<p>Lively alleged that Baldoni wanted her to \u201corgasm\u201d on camera \u2014\u00a0despite agreeing to take the scene out.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Lively requested a stronger protective order to limit the information made public. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The actress asked the judge to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/02\/21\/entertainment\/blake-lively-says-shes-received-violent-messages-amid-justin-baldoni-legal-battle\/\">grant her a stronger protective order<\/a> in late February 2025 due to the sensationalized nature of the case.<\/p>\n<p>In the proposed PO, her legal team requested to have certain discovery material categorized as \u201cAttorney\u2019s Eyes Only,\u201d\u00a0limiting what is made public given the nature of the case.<\/p>\n<p>The letter noted that the case deals with \u201chigh-profile individuals, to whom a duty of confidentiality is owed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, Lively\u2019s legal team also requested a\u00a0protective order\u00a0for their client\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/03\/06\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-ryan-reynolds-urge-court-to-protect-texts-with-celeb-pals-over-fear-justin-baldoni-will-leak-them-to-the-press\/\">private texts with her celebrity pals\u00a0<\/a>\u2014\u00a0which could cause \u201cirreparable harm\u201d if they \u201cwere to fall into wrong hands.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are 100 million reasons for these parties to leak information because the PR value is greater than complying with the court\u2019s orders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lively\u2019s initial request referenced the \u201cvicious\u201d backlash Lively has faced online\u00a0as another reason for stronger protections, noting that she has \u201creceived violent, profane, sexist, and threatening communications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Baldoni\u2019s legal team argued that Lively brought it to the public first by bringing her initial complaint to the New York Times.
