We were so nervous to meet you guys and the royal family,\u201d Travis, 36, said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd Jason has this running joke where he didn\u2019t know what to do with his beer,\u201d the Kansas City Chiefs tight end added.<\/p>\n<p>After William laughed, Jason, 38, clarified that the situation with his beer \u201cwasn\u2019t a joke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou want to be respectful and know what the protocols are,\u201d  the retired NFL star explained, before noting the meeting \u201cwas awesome\u201d and William was \u201cfantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The Kelce brothers recalled meeting William and his kids George and Charlotte at Swift\u2019s concert in London in 2024. I don\u2019t know how you did that,\u201d William quipped.<\/p>\n<p>Jason, who shares his children with wife <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/26\/parents\/kylie-kelce-dishes-on-intimacy-with-jason-post-baby-not-all-fun-and-games\/\">Kylie Kelce<\/a>, laughed and replied, \u201cDefinitely a difficult task. The hardest job.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The Kelce brothers told William (seen above with Kate Middleton and his kids) they were \u201cnervous\u201d to meet him. <span class=\"credit\">UK Press via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Travis (seen above with Swift) revealed Jason didn\u2019t know what to do with his beer when they met William. <span class=\"credit\">Billboard via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On a previous \u201cNew Heights\u201d episode, Travis said William and his two eldest kids were \u201cabsolutely a delight to meet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wasn\u2019t sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hands, like, \u2018Sup, dude.\u2019 We wanted to be polite,&#8217;\u201d he explained. <\/p>\n<p>Jason, 36, noted that since they weren\u2019t an an \u201cofficial royal event,\u201d they didn\u2019t bow.<\/p>\n<p>William, George and Charlotte <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/06\/22\/royal-family\/prince-william-dances-to-shake-it-off-at-taylor-swifts-eras-tour-in-london-with-prince-george-princess-charlotte\/\">watched Swift perform<\/a>\u00a0from a box at Wembley Stadium in June 2024, on his birthday.<\/p>\n<p>After the concert, the\u00a0trio met the \u201cOpalite\u201d singer backstage, along with Travis, and took some photos.<\/p>\n<p>Swift also shared the selfie and wrote alongside it, \u201cHappy Bday M8.
