A murder investigation was launched shortly afterwards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Police have arrested a 30-year-old woman from Netherton on suspicion of murder and she remains in custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries remain ongoing to determine the full circumstances of what happened,&#8221; a police spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">When the Liverpool Echo attended the scene, forensic officers were seen going in and out of a building at the corner of a close on the road. Detectives were also present as the investigation continued.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Detective Inspector Sara Lang said: &#8220;Our thoughts at this time are with the family of the woman who has sadly passed way.
