The energy, the dancing, the faces in the crowd\u2026 we made real memories together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Richie added, \u201cSee you in Toronto\u2026 let\u2019s party all night long!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nearly one week ago, Richie was singing a less optimistic tune after he was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/26\/entertainment\/lionel-richie-gives-tour-update-after-abrupt-concert-cancellation-hospitalization\/\">forced to postpone shows<\/a> from falling concerts\u00a0in Chicago, and Columbus, Ohio, would no longer take place due to doctors\u2019 orders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnder advisement by doctors to rest and return to full health, Lionel Richie has postponed his next two shows,\u201d the\u00a0Instagram post\u00a0read in part.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLionel is heartbroken to postpone these two shows and cannot wait to be back performing for his fans.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Richie felt \u201cdizzy\u201d during his Minnesota tour-opener last month, leading to last month that an individual was \u201ctransported from Grand Casino Arena late on June 24, 2026, to a local hospital by Saint Paul Fire-EMS.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>No additional details about the nature of Richie\u2019s\u00a0health scare\u00a0have been released.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d judge was nearly an hour into his concert at the Grand Casino Arena <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/25\/entertainment\/lionel-richie-77-falls-ill-onstage-in-minnesota-abruptly-ends-opening-night-concert\/\">when fans noticed a change in Richie<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While performing his upbeat classic \u201cDancing on the Ceiling,\u201d Richie paused and took a seat on a platform before later revealing to the crowd that he was feeling lightheaded, according to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.startribune.com\/lionel-richie-health-concerns-cut-concert-short\/601859500\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Minnesota Star
