{"id":8045,"date":"2026-07-07T12:42:16","date_gmt":"2026-07-07T12:42:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/travis-kelce-put-on-blast-by-another-nfl-athlete-not-invited-to-wedding-a-personal-shot\/"},"modified":"2026-07-07T12:42:16","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T12:42:16","slug":"travis-kelce-put-on-blast-by-another-nfl-athlete-not-invited-to-wedding-a-personal-shot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/travis-kelce-put-on-blast-by-another-nfl-athlete-not-invited-to-wedding-a-personal-shot\/","title":{"rendered":"Travis Kelce put on blast by another NFL athlete not invited to wedding: &#8216;A personal shot&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F07%2FUntitled-1-copy-2026-07-07T082508.897.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Will this ruin the friendship?<\/p>\n<p>On the heels of Will Compton <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/06\/entertainment\/travis-kelces-flabbergasted-pal-calls-him-out-over-wedding-snub-everybody-else-went\/\">putting Travis Kelce on blast<\/a> over being snubbed from the groom\u2019s wedding, Compton\u2019s \u201cBussin\u2019 With the Boys\u201d podcast co-host is doing the same.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor Lewan <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/mac-jones-on-playing-for-nick-saban-bill-belichick\/id1464240720?i=1000775781570\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">went on a scathing rant during Tuesday\u2019s episode<\/a> \u2014 while insisting he was \u201ctaking the high road\u201d \u2014 about not <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/entertainment\/all-the-celebrities-invited-to-taylor-swift-and-travis-kelces-wedding\/\">being invited<\/a> to Friday\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/03\/entertainment\/all-the-celebrities-at-taylor-swift-and-travis-kelces-wedding\/#1\">star-studded Madison Square Garden nuptials<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Taylor Lewan slammed Travis Kelce on Monday over not being invited to the Kansas City Chiefs player\u2019s wedding. <span class=\"credit\">Bussin&#8217; With The Boys<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The ex-Tennessee Titans player (pictured above on Feb. 6) said he was \u201ctaking the high road\u201d \u2014 but went on a podcast rant. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for Spotify<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The ex-Tennessee Titans player initially felt \u201call good\u201d about not <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/03\/entertainment\/taylor-swift-and-travis-kelce-marry-in-front-of-a-list-pals-at-extravagant-msg-wedding\/\">going to the \u201cintimate\u201d wedding<\/a> until he saw the guest list.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDude, there\u2019s so many people!\u201d the 34-year-old exclaimed after highlighting the attendees he didn\u2019t recognize, including soccer star Alex Morgan and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/12\/25\/entertainment\/bowen-yangs-final-snl-episode-sets-record-as-he-exits-against-lorne-michaels-wishes\/\">\u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d alum Bowen Yang<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not taking away from how amazing this wedding probably was,\u201d he added. \u201cListen, I\u2019m not taking away from all these people going there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, he asked \u201chow many people \u2026 MSG hold[s]\u201d and asked, \u201cSo what your\u2019e telling me is I\u2019m not top 9,500 in Travis\u2019 life? Yo, we\u2019re boys, I\u2019ve known you for over 10 years. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe text and call each other,\u201d he continued. \u201cI\u2019m just thinking, dude, I\u2019m clearly doing something wrong in our friendship, clearly something wrong. \u2026 There\u2019s clearly a blind spot I\u2019m not seeing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lewan went on to share their \u201clast two texts to each other,\u201d with Kelce thanking the ex-athlete for sending \u201ccongratulations\u201d on <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/entertainment\/everything-to-know-about-taylor-swift-travis-kelce-wedding\/\">tying the knot<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Although Lewan recorded a voice message for insight on what kind of \u201cdiscussion\u201d went into not inviting himself and Compton, 36, he never sent it.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The retired athlete (pictured above in 2021) said there is \u201cclearly something wrong\u201d in his and Kelce\u2019s friendship. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for CMT<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lewan (pictured above on the left in 2025) said he must have a \u201cblind spot.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">bussinwtb\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI am so happy for you \u2026 could not be more excited for you and your beautiful wife,\u201d Lewan said in the since-deleted message. \u201cI just want to know what was the thought process for inviting people because I\u2019m seeing a lot of individuals here and am wondering how it all happened breaking it all down. Hope you\u2019re good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the day, he quipped, \u201cI don\u2019t even know if I would have gone, so it\u2019s all good.
