And the actual wedding <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/01\/entertainment\/taylor-swift-travis-kelces-msg-wedding-schedule-revealed\/\">was in the afternoon<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Seacrest was \u201cso honored and thrilled to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/entertainment\/all-the-celebrities-invited-to-taylor-swift-and-travis-kelces-wedding\/\">be invited<\/a>,\u201d he \u201chad no choice\u201d since \u201cit\u2019s part of [his] job at Disney to do these things.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cI couldn\u2019t have done both,\u201d he told \u201cOn Air With Ryan Seacrest\u201d radio show listeners. \u201cTrust me.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">On Air With Ryan Seacrest\/Youtube<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Seacrest (pictured above in December 2014) was \u201ckind of torn\u201d nonetheless. <span class=\"credit\">Neilson Barnard\/DCNYRE2015<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The \u201cWheel of Fortune\u201d host noted that he verbally confirmed to Swift and Kelce in person that he would attend their ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe irony was, after I RSVP\u2019d to the wedding, I saw them at dinner at a restaurant and we talked about the event,\u201d he recalled, sharing that it was his \u201cfirst time\u201d meeting the NFL player.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Swift] was like, \u2018Oh, it\u2019s going to be so much fun. We\u2019re gonna have the best time. It\u2019s gonna go late,&#8217;\u201d Seacrest continued. \u201cI [was] like, \u2018I cannot wait. I\u2019m so excited.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d host (pictured above in November 2012) was \u201cso honored and thrilled\u201d to score an invite. <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Seacrest gave Swift (pictured above in April 2011) a verbal confirmation that he would attend. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Despite not going, Seacrest joked that he has been \u201cinside screaming\u201d while keeping the couple\u2019s wedding details \u201csecret\u201d from his co-hosts.<\/p>\n<p>He praised himself for staying \u201cvery composed\u201d on the outside as his colleagues discussed \u201creports about the wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Swift and Kelce <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/03\/entertainment\/taylor-swift-and-travis-kelce-marry-in-front-of-a-list-pals-at-extravagant-msg-wedding\/\">said \u201cI do\u201d<\/a> in front of more than an estimated 1,000 guests <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/05\/entertainment\/taylor-swift-and-travis-kelce-to-marry-at-msg-in-manhattan\/\">at Madison Square Garden<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The event <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/03\/entertainment\/all-the-celebrities-at-taylor-swift-and-travis-kelces-wedding\/#1\">was an A-list affair<\/a>, with Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon and more stars in attendance.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Swift and Kelce (pictured above in 2025) wed in front of more than 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden on Friday. <span class=\"credit\">Travis Kelce\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Before the nuptials, Swift (pictured above in February 2024) told Seacrest, \u201cOh, it\u2019s going to be so much fun.
